I'll second that-- Penn Wood Airstream Park is in western PA. About one hour's drive east of the Ohio State Line on I-80. Take exit 64 and go south about 4 miles. Easy in and out! See the Website for easy driving directions ( PENNWOOD AIRSTREAM )

Springfield MO Airstreamers here (78 31' Sovereign) here, just went to your website and read the history of Penn Wood Airstream Park.

What an interesting tale. I liked how the authors didn't gloss over differences of opinion.

My wife and I picked up our Airstream in 2007 from a nice couple in Lancaster PA. We are the second owners. Retired now, perhaps we'll head east again and stop at your park.

Enjoy the season and keep streaming!

More location information on the event Site QTH:

From Interstate 80 in in Pennsylvania Take exit 64
Head South on PA route 66 to the Village Limestone PA (about 4 miles)

Go to Piney Creek Road, also known as Tr-527, and it make come up as Buzzard Road. This is adjacent to the small white Church "Limestone Baptist"
Turn Right. This is not the same turn as the Penn Wood Campground entrance, but a back way in!
All of these road names are valid depending upon which data base you employ! (Did I mention this is Appalachia?)

I'll put up a ton of signs. Hopefully most folks will see them all-

Go about 1.1 Miles. You will see a large meadow on your left. There will be a well marked break in the curb where you turn in.

The GPS Coordinates for this entrance is:

N 41˚ 7.683'
W 79˚ 20.147'
You can view the area with Google Earth pretty easily...

Hope this helps-
Alexander-

Wish it was a little closer to Mississippi, I'd love to join the fun. Sounds like a great plan for field day. My favorite part of Airstreaming is portable radio operation. I have worked the world with my little Elecraft K2 and an antenna hanging in a tree by the trailer.
Maybe I"ll get a chance to work you and add you to the log.

Alex,
The WBCCI ARC would be interested in a Field Day report from you. We have a new webmaster, Steve, K4NM, and he can post your info on the club's website. You can give us some numbers, etc. and other comments you find appropriate such as what worked and what didn't since this was a first time event. The WBCCI ARC did have an HF station active during the International rally on 40M & 20M. Propagation was not good making for difficult contacts. The club station, WB8RC, was not active during Field Day, however.
