Check's in the mail Ken.

Also, I'd be happy to be on the parking team again this year if Jim and Lynda would have me. Thought I'd post this video again just as a teaser for those newbies (as I was last year).

We're in!

Confirmation received - probably going on to the Grand Canyon and then to Zion and/or Brice prior to heading back to Texas.

I made reservations at Enchanted Trails CG for 3 nights before the Fiesta. Two good things about Enchanted Trails—it is almost next to the assembly point Friday morning to caravan to balloonland and they don't raise their prices for the Fiesta. Also it is a cool place with the office being a former trading post and various vintage trailers and cars parked around the grounds. Some of the vintage trailers are available for overnights.

If you haven't been to the Fiesta before, this is the best place to stay before the Fiesta and there will be many Airstreams present.

The whole area between the Grand Canyon and Zion is wonderful. You might consider other boondocking/camping in places in this post.

You will find me quite dull and uninspiring. But my wife Barb is very nice and much better looking than me.

We are in. Missed one due to a broken leg if you remember. On the way back from the Mardi Grais rally and won't be home for a couple of days. Save us a spot and will mail the check as soon as we get home.

I just made reservations for after the Fiesta at Trailer Ranch in Santa Fe. If you are new to New Mexico (or if not), Santa Fe is worth visiting after the Fiesta. We saw quite a few Airstreams there last year, but don't know whether they had been at the Fiesta. After trying some other places in SF, we like Trailer Ranch. It is a 55+ CG and I wish they'd card us, but they never do.

And a jacket warning. Last year, needing a new medium weight jacket, I bought one at the Fiesta that has the Fiesta logo. It must be licensed. It looked decently made and had a fleece lining. It was reasonably priced. It is made in China, but it is hard to find clothing that isn't made somewhere in Asia. It is already pilling. Watch out. The brand seems to be "i 5 apparel".
