4CU 004 : 2011 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta!

We're in Angel Fire at Monte Verde, with 3 other Airstreams from the balloons (4 counting Lyn &Maria's), tummies full from dinners at Hatcha's Grill (great recommendation, Lyn). Cool rainy night, we were spoiled quickly by the Albuquerque weather.
To Ken J and all the organizers, thank you again for a fantastic rally. It far exceeded our imaginings. We certainly chose a great rally for our first foray into Airstream gatherings. We met so many wonderful people that we hope to meet up with again.
Liz and Robin--we'll be practicing at cornhole for a rematch next year!

If you see a balloon called "The Owl and the PussyCat" (owl on one side/Pussycat on the other) say hello to Jan M. the owner. He's a buddy of mine that's been flying out at the event for a number of years. He also owns two Airsteams, a 34' front kitchen and a diesel MOHO.

Just got home, cool, rain and gloomy. As usual we had a great time and a special mention to Monday evening at Bernie & Margie's along with Lyle & Margie, Pat & Babs and our solo friend Stan. Photos coming tomorrow? Looking forward to next year's balloon fiesta.

This was my first airstream ballon Fest !! It was great !! Thanks to Ken and all the folks that made this event so memorable!! I will return. Im learning the forums and all kind of things about airstreams!
