OK, I'll try again...first post landed me at a rally site somewhere in New England...
If I step up to the plate, and open a thread on the TTQ contest(and don't get my rivets stripped), will the photographers out there be willing to submit pics of the festivities? At least we'll know where the line is on sense of humor...michaela

I know it's a bit early, but are there any plans for a repeat for 2009? I'm thinking about making some reservations with a buddy of mine (in an SOB) and wanted to try and plan to either join the group or be nearby on the same weekend. Any dates yet?

We will enter the Fiesta on Friday the 2nd of October and spend 4 nights, leaving on Tuesday the 6th. It is still a long way off, but those days should be good.

We have been at VIP West the past two years. It is a great location. When the wind is right, the balloons fly right over the trailers...
Every effort will be made to put us there again in 2009.

Richard, thanks for your help! I was disappointed that we had to miss this years rally due to a wedding we had to attend, but we won't miss next year. I've been to the Fiesta a few times, but have always stayed at an aircooled VW event called 'Busses and Balloons' down on Paseo del Norte. Looking forward to doing it Airstream style!

The only way it could be better is to hold off on the rain. had a great time this year and hope to be back next year. It will take more than penny saving to make it again.
