Were going to this one. Sorry you won't be there Balrgn. You will be missed. Maybe next year. How long did it take you to get there when you went with R & R?
Sending our money to Robin soon. Looks like fun!

I'll be there in spirit!
We went Rt 95 north which was 3 1/2 hours up with a potty break. I think the exit was 182 to Rt 69 to Rt 1A. I'll post the exact exit when I get home and check

I was close:
Rt 95 to exit 174 to Rt 69 to Rt 1A.
Rt 69 will bring you right into Winterport, It will be less traffic in the Summer months!

In the next couple of weeks I will begin posting details on this Forum Rendezvous including arrival/departure times, generators (welcome), pets
(welcome), near-by dump station possibilities, the possibility of getting a portable gray water tank on the site, ect.

Hey R & R!
Any more details on the arrival/departure times?
We'll be shooting over after the BBQ Championship and need to figure out how fast or slow we'll have to drive to get prime parking for the mosh pit.

We're also planning on boosting a certain red '62 Chevy Impala, 283 CID V8 presently located in New Hampshire for the Race Nostalgia Day so we'll need to do some logistic gymnastics.

I'll check again on the Early Arrival/ Late Departure deal. Just give me an idea of how early and/or late and I can get it nailed down.
It was also recommended that 'Streamers arrive by Saturday morning so the we can get to the camping area through the parking lot, as the stage and everything will be set up in the parking lot (see aerial pic.)
Once in it will not be possible to drive out until Sunday ( who would want to go anywhere?) but tow vehicles can parked outside in case someone has to get somewhere. I'm sure if your vehicle is blocked in, someone will give you a ride!

Just heard back from Phil in Winterport about arrival & departure. Here is his response:
Actually the stage is being set up on Friday during the day and will not interfer
with the area you will be going to. The latest on Saturday that anyone can arrive
would be 9:30 a.m. I don't anticipate any problems with people arriving later in
the day on Thursday or leaving early Monday Morning. The fields do get used by our
recreation department so that would be the earliest and latest that we could work
out. Again let me know about any other questions.

Yes, and at last count there were five rigs. Haven't heard from the "last minute folks" today. Plenty of time and plenty of room for all!
