Three Rivers Rally ~March 14-16, 2014~

Hello folks,
Wake up your Airstream from it's winter slumber. Let's get together for a very relaxed rally in Three Rivers, Ca. March 14th-16th 2014.
Sequoia Rv Ranch is a small, quiet campground on the shore of the Kaweah River about 2.5 miles from the town of Three Rivers.
10 full hook up sites have been blocked for us.

No clubs, no dues, just call and make your reservation. Everyone is welcome. Feel free to do as much or as little as you like with the group. Get there early or stay late, it's up to you. Just have fun and listen to the sound of the river.

Visit their website to see the campground map:
http://www.sequoiarvranch.com/

Sites 22-31 are pull thru, full hook up sites. 26-30 are river front with full hook ups as well. #28 has a length restriction of 28 feet.
If you prefer a partial hook up site, they have a mobile 'honey wagon' and a dump site. There are shower facilities and wi-fi.

Oooh, I so would love to go, but my school's big fundraising auction is that Saturday night and I play a necessary part so I kinda have to be there.

Bummer!

Hey there -- yeah - we got a nice deal on a 2012 International Serenity 28 -- we were actually looking for an older International 28 -- I even had the remodeling plan all figured out and then we checked out the new ones at Bay Area Airstream and really liked the Serenity -- of course we're customizing it

It was in Seattle so they had to bring it down to the Bay Area - Allen's picking it up on Friday!! It will be so nice to have a Q bed that you can walk around!! We're keeping Steylla for now...if we find we don't use her we may sell her -- we'll bring the smaller one to Dardanelle but the new one will be at Jackson for sure! We're going to Alumafandango in Oregon too - are you guys going to that?

Here's a quick pic of the interior -- we have a pile of stuff to put in it already just waiting in the living room (raided Steylla for part of it)

Cara,

Got your message you sent on this rally. Looks like we will be able to join all of you. We are planning on arriving Friday 3/14 and leave Monday 3/17. I will try to book our reservation tomorrow or Thursday. What site would you recommend we get so we are close to the action?

Look forward to hearing from you soon,

Scott,
Wonderful! So glad to hear you'll be there. You'll be next to Lianne and you'll have a nice view of the river. Site #28 has a length restriction but from what Lori in the office told me it's because of where the fire pit is located.

Here's a campground map.
We have sites #22-31 pull-thru, and 26-30 blocked off for our group. All are full hook-ups.

Just made the reservation this morning. This will be our fist Airstream group get-to-gether. I have lived in Fresno for almost 30 years and have never been to Three Rivers.

Nice to have another trip on the calendar.

Doug,
So glad to hear you'll be joining us! We had never been to Three Rivers either until we got our AS. It's about as easy of a drive as you could ask for. About 90 minutes from Fresno.
The area is beautiful in November when all the colors are changing and the river is low. We haven't yet been there in March but the staff says it green and flowers will be blooming at that time.

Rick,
Wonderful! That makes 7! We are very much looking forward to meeting you!

To all:
Please post which site number you are in.

Also, I didn't write it in the opening description but we will have a traditional Saturday night potluck. This will be the first weekend after the daylight savings time change so we will have an extra hour of daylight for dinner.
I like to keep things casual. We can do wine and appitizers on Friday night. I didn't feel like it was necessary to plan it since none of us really need any encouragement to stand around the fire and eat, drink and be social.

Wife says, "Let's go". Since it's been many moons since we've been to Sequoia we will plan on a couple of extra days. I will contact the RV park and see what's available in full hook ups.
