It is going to be pretty nice come Friday and towards the weekend. I expect it will be in the high 50's or low 60's during the day.
Drive safe.
I have one open spot as of today.
It is a pull thru and paid for until Sunday morning right now.

We hit the road sometime this morning. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Wouldn't it be neat if every campsite had video cam movies of the weather. Cool feature.

Cool! I am bringing a snow shovel and some extra propane. I called the park yesterday. They have some snow on the ground but say the days are getting warm.
Michelle has rented a cabin and says we can hangout in her hot tub and use her wifi if it's too cold. Her cabin abuts the park. Gary is intent on fishing, and swears he will catch something. I'm bringing frozen salmon.

Chris is on the road. Janet and me will be heading out in 15 minutes. Should see everyone there about 2-3pm.
It's not too late. The weather is going to be Mostly Sunny and the temp. around 60 to 65 all weekend. Many open spaces.

Hello all,
We are here and the campground and lake is stunning! A little snow on the ground, but the roads are clear. Wish all of you could have joined us! Will let you know more later... came into town today to get our internet fix.

Hi All, We are all here and having a great time !
The weather is great. Sitting outside at the internet cafe right now.
There is a bit of snow in the campground but nothing that really gets in the way.

For those of you who couldn't come... you missed a great time! Great location, great people, great food, even great weather!
Chris, thanks a zillion! You were once again, a great wagonmaster! Thanks too to everyone who was there ~ it is always fun to see you!
We enjoyed our stay very much, in fact we all managed to caravan down to the Columbia River following the rally and Chris, Janet & Gary and Don & I continued one more night at Crows Butte along the river.
Wallowa Lake is stunning... and here are some pics of the rally... at the end is one of Crows Butte along the Columbia.

We stayed at Crow Butte after the Wallowa Lake Rally. We all had an extra day off so we chilled out in mid 70's temps for the afternoon. A welcome change from the cold of the mountains.
