Hey Lou . . .

I just noticed that our Forum "Join Dates" are the same: 3-24-2004. What a weird coincidence.

Do I get extra LPPI points for it?

In light of this fact, I have taken the liberty to promote you to Executive Vice President of Finance for the LPPI!
Congratulations Mr. Vice President!
BTW, I was on the forums as a lurker back when it first started. I will let you slide because I need another Vice President!

Wow, I always wanted to be a VP. Thanks!

I was a lurker, too before I joined, but I probably didn't start lurking until the fall of 2003 when we purchased the Overlander. I think the Forum has been around at least since 2002, so you win.

Dear Mr. Vice President,
You now have to maintain a new decorum now that you are an executive member of the L.P.P.I.
I am not sure how you are supposed to act but I am sure you must act like you know EXACTLY what you are talking about at all times.

Well, Marvin and Annie are VP's as well. There are two reasons for this:
1. Marvin and Annie own an Argosy
2. Marvin and Annie bring me Canadian beer

They will have the beanies with the beige propellers! The ULTIMATE beanies!

Hi again to all of Lou's Crew!!

Larry and I had a great time at Covenant Hills with Lou, and all of the "crew". We were glad to have met everyone there!! Thanks to you all for making it a great campout. We look forward to meeting up with all of you again sometime soon.
We were able to extend our vacation a few extra days and made it over the bridge and up to the UP of Michigan. Stayed in some very pretty parks, took lots of pictures, visited with a dear uncle and cousins too. It was a blast!
Michigan has some beautiful parks, although the state parks we found a little pricey!!
We got on the road to head back to Ohio just about the same time the gas prices started upward from $3/gal. Guess we will be staying closer to home to camp for the time being.
If any of you get this direction be sure to stop by and use our courtesy parking area!! We love reunions!
Lou and Larry
Back in OHIO!!

Loudruff, was that your Argosy we saw headed north on I75 Sunday, the 28th? We were headed south and saw you just south of Bay City, I think.

spotted?

Hi John! Could have been! We waved at several AS units that were headed south when we were headed to St. Ignace on that day. We have a "painted" AS. Our little Minuet is NOT silver!! ha! We pull it with a 15 passenger Ford E 350 van that is kind of gold-brown. The van is almost the same length as the Minuet!!
Too bad we did not get a chance to stop and visit. We will keep our eyes open tho.

Yep, that was you we saw, I remember the van. You were the first of a 3 coach caravan, heading north. We'll drop in next time!

another rally!!!

Yep, sounds good to us. We may be able to do that if my mom's surgery goes well. I will let you know. You will have to be checking on whether the parks there are open tho. Lots of them are closed from Mid October until spring finally arrives.
Anyone else up for this??

We will be in the Ohio/Michigan area in early-to-mid October ... it could work out for us! I'll be watching this thread to see what develops.
