we may be able to get there
we are now touring utah and headed for texas to stay for a month or so, will most likely be in the austin area in late october
and then if we can head that direction , i think it would be fun...then we will most likely head for galveston, new orleans, arkansas and back to the austin area
before heading to arizona for the new years eve rally with the four corners unit

It was my pleasure, I really enjoyed talking with LC on the phone today.
We already have lots in common. After awhile of talking be both decided we had better get off the phone to have something to talk about at the rally. Can't wait to meet!
O and he told me about his Jambalaya, I love good food LOL!

The Farmer hollers that out in Waterboy...
I got a question...
The campground shows max length site of 40'...my trailer and truck BARELY fit in a 46' site...
Are the sites wide enough to let me park beside the trailer?

Yes there is additonal parking at each trailer area. Some bigger than others. When Mrs. S and I camped there in July we had spot 76 and we had our 30' trailer and 3 vehicles there at one time. The sites are designed so that fishermen can pull there boats out of the water and bring them up to their camp site at night.
Spot 69 or spot 79 would prolly be your best bet for 34' of Aluminum.
79 would be the easiest to get into.
You can see better on this map of how the sites are laid out.

Update
Wow after I went to bed last night we had several sign up.
I updated the map, it was getting harder to view to me so I changed the color scheme up.
Blue Squares are sites that are already reserved by Airstreamers.
Yellow Squares are spots still avalible.
There are only 2 spots left inside the loop. So if you want to be in the center sign up quick.
Lots of aluminum in the Loop
MC Park map.pdf
I highlighted some sites that are outside of the loop, they are just across the main road. They are nice sights right in the middle of lots of tall Pine Trees.
Looks like we are filling up pretty fast but there is still plenty of room.
Its very exciting, when we stayed last time while we were checking in a couple of the park attendants come over to look at our Airstream. One said "you know these are really nice trailers, but we just dont see many of them in this park"
Boy are we about to give them a treat!
