Swamp Roots for Everyone

Fred Hinds brought some swamp roots to the very first forum rally, held in April 2002. Look at post #60 in this thread to see this history of swamp roots and Airstreams.

Did anyone notice that swamp roots and Mystic fires made it into the June 2004 issue of the Blue Beret?

Phred Sez has directions for making your own swamp root. We took one to the South Carolina Coastal Unit New Year's rally and it was a hit. Fred Ettline, the author of Phred Sez is a member of that Unit.

The only problem is that the article forgets to mention drilling holes every inch or so in the pipe before adding the garden hose. Maybe Phred can put a correction in the Blue Beret?

I can't take any credit for the Swamp Root thing. A co-worker at my office gave me my first two. I tried the first one by myself and sprung the second one on the Mystic Springs I MH Rally group. It is pretty cool.
