Not any more. Your loss turned into my gain.
Next time the site map gets updated, can you fit "Bohemian" on C-10? (was A-37).

Alan,
I hope you don't mind other camping promotion in this thread.
Anne and I are camping at Indian Springs State Park in Flovilla on Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25). This state park is between Atlanta and Macon, about 10 miles east of I-75.
If you couldn't make the Springstream (like us) or just want to camp, feel free to join us. There were 12 25' trailer sites still available for Fri-Sun night stays as of yesterday, but no sites larger than that for that 3-night window. These sites are $25 per night.
Thanks.

One week out so I am reminding everyone again,, (just in case and not to be a pita)
At the PAVILLION on the Hill.
Friday- set up for those arriving. My family will get there about 7 or so.
Lots of daylight so we can meet and greet, and so on....
Saturday 10 am Brunch. Bring something to cook or share, coffees, pancake batter, muffins, whatever. we will have one griddle, bring one if you have one.
also bring your own mug, or cup...and we will get some paper plates and such.
Raffle tickets will be given out at this time...for your donated used and new giveaway items.
Tour of homes to follow at 11: 0r 11:30.
Free time from afterwards until;
Saturday 6PM wine/beer/soft drink....a get together before the shared dinner and jammin'.
Bring a dish to share, main, side, dessert it all works out. Once again we will have paper products and forks, etc.
Sunday- On your own...enjoy the day!
The more we have participation in the few events, the more fun for all.

Any more open spots available?
I think we missed out on both C-10 and B-1. Without going into a lot of detail, it looks like we will have to cancel our trip out of town that we had planned that was originally preventing us from going to this Springstream. I hate it since we have gone to that event for 17 years in a row but stuff happens and been happening a lot.The good news is (at least if we can get a spot) is that I think we can at least get up to Springstream for a couple of days. If nothing is available, we'll just try to ride up in the convertible for the day on Saturday and bring something for the potluck.
Thanks, G

I talked to Lewis today about B1. I'm in B4 right now. Call or PM him and tell him you want his spot. I'm not sure if he is holding it for me or not but I can stay in B4, no problem. Would not want anyone to miss because of me.

Greg,
Lewis mentioned you wanted a lake spot which is cool. I'd be happy with either spot...we just need something Friday and Saturday, checking out Sunday...is your spot still available or is it spoken for? Not sure if you've been there before but all those spots are good. There are some nice trees by B1 that should be blooming right about now...great campground!
I didn't meant to sound like a hard luck story...if we end up driving our old musclecar convertible up for the day and even getting a local hotel room for the night...we're fine with that too. Either way, we plan on being there Saturday....and thanks for the offer of Lewis' spot. I've camped on the lake before so you take the lake spot. I'm not able to bring any of our Feathercrafts anyway...none are ready yet.
I haven't called the campground yet since I knew their cancelation policy doesn't give refunds so I was hoping to get a spot from someone so that person wouldn't lose their deposit.
Thanks, G

I hope I convinced StreaminGuy to try for B1 after several e-mails and each of us trying to "out nice" the other. I think he finally agreed after I told him he could buy my dinner Saturday night.
You meet the nicest people in an Airstream (I think I stole that from a very old Honda morotcycle ad campaign).

Well, heck. There goes our idea of bringing out our 12 cup coffee station "cup 'o joe" dispenser. We'll dig into your 100 cup pot. Better make it strong, though. We don't like that weak stuff.
I guess y'all get our electric griddle w/ 8 lbs of farm-fresh bacon.

I like that idea, we will miss Mario's espresso machine though!
Let's all pray for good weather. The rain has been non stoop around here for a long time now...
The pavillion will be a welcome covering in any event.

Alan, you and the rest of the Spring Streamers have a great time. I am so sorry to miss it this year. I'll look forward to being at Falluminum.

We are keeping a close watch on the weather. We are soaked over here. I'd hate to drive 400 miles each way and get soaked some more. Everyone needs to do their best "no rain" dance.

We're pulling out first thing tomorrow morning heading to Hiawassee. We're planning on spending a couple of days sightseeing in the area before the rally. If anyone else is arriving early, look us up in site B9.

I'm filling the empty propane tank and the gas tank on the tow vehicle before hitching up tonight. We will head out Wed. immediately after I get home from work. We should get to just south of Cincinnati and stop for the night at a Flying J, then go the remaining 6 hours Thursday AM. See you there!
