Speaking of heading out, we did after work this evening - with Maxwell, of course. We took a quick jaunt up to Cheyenne for Frontier Days. we're all settled in, we have Roy Rogers playing on the ipod and we will be up bright & early for the pancake breakfast. Then off for the "in-the-chutes" tour (where all the cowboys hang out ), the rodeo and a Sugarland/Alan Jackson concert tomorrow night. Rodeo finals are this weekend and we have tickets for Sat. & Sun. too. Yippee-ki-ahy! YeeHaw!
Happy trails to you....
Shari

Carol,
I have already ridden Ruby 1500 miles since getting her. It would have been more but we were seperated for a couple of months.
I have though about taking Sarah with me. I have a tank bag but it faces the wrong way. I really don't think she would like the way I would have to secure here and feel good about riding with her. She will likely stay home unless I get a side car for her

Darn, did I miss the marshmallow toast? Better late than never. I'll toast you all with a big marshmallow floating on the hot cocoa this morning.
I guess I missed that Carol has a new "koa". Gotta go looking for the pics.
Sharon, are you back home now? Or celebrating your silver on the road?
We had a great trip to Indiana, beautiful weather and a great visit with family. Not exactly a rodeo (sounds like a hoot, Shari!) but when we pulled out, we left a few levelers and I guess the cows took them for legos. This was our second year traveling back home from the east coast, and the midwest is really starting to grow on me again. I love it out there in the heartland.

Jamie that picture is funny. From your avatar and this picture it looks like your "site" in the Homeland was a gorgeous place to be. How's the family back home and now what are you and the girls doing?
I'll have to post some more Koa pictures soon.
Paula a marshmallow toast that's it! That was about as real as this online rally could experience. Thanks. I was drooling.
Michelle you are riding up a storm. I can just see Sarah in the side car, lol. She'll need a little riding coat and scarf...

We're grandparents again!!!
London Rose was born about 40 minutes ago. I got to hear her vocalizing. Healthy baby girl about 20 inches long and about 7 pounds 10 ounces as near as my son could tell me. I hear it's been a long day for them. London has twin brothers 8 years old, a 10 year old cousin and a 6 month old cousin. Nice to finally have a little girl in the family.
I'll be off to Illinois to see the new baby and take pictures to show you.

Congratulations, Carol and family! What a pretty name they picked out. I'll bet it matches a pretty little face.

Oh yes please Lou where is your recipe? I tried to make it at Bozeman and it wasn not anything as nice or good as yours. HELP!! And thanks for thinking of little London. That is so very thoughtful of you. You are always cooking up some fun for some one. THANKS!
Now G. that pink icing on stawberry cake has made us all think pink and sweet. Thanks for the mmm good wishes. Maybe the new mama and I can whip up some wickedly good treats this visit. Someday the three generations can be creating in the kitchen together, I hope! Until then ruffles and lace and dolls and all those girl things get to be employed at last!!!
Thanks Jamie, I will post a picture as soon as I can. Daddy tells me she looks just like her mama, she's a cutie. Leaving tomorrow morning for the visit. I will get to see all the kidos this trip. Back soon.
