This trailer has tambour doors everywhere, and they all work, which is wonderful. Got all the vents up, got all the vinyl wall covering up, cleaned up the trailer, now I'm going to do my charts from work. The fun never ends here. It's 80 out and beautiful. Think I'll go out to the swing with the dogs and the cats and sit for just a while. I do have a picture of Bob blocking the entrance to a gas station on our way home. I kept telling him "truck stops only" but you know how men are.

Creative cookie frosting, vintage Airstream transformations, goodness, but this is a productive bunch. Juel, you are right about holidays changing as family changes and kids grow up, maybe marry, and sometimes find themselves far away. Our holidays are no longer the set-in-tradition days they used to be, but I'm finding it's not as bad as I thought when the changes first began. And I can only imagine how much your sister will enjoy your company and dinner out with you As for me and Thanksgiving, I suddenly could not bear the thought of the cooking and the left overs and my jampacked, who know's what's lurking in the back of it refrig, so I've spent the past couple of hours clearing out and toothpicking my refrigerator. Max looked in it awhile ago and declared that we've nothing left to eat. That's okay. I know it's clean and ready for the onslaught. You know, I find that the provisioning and preparation is often as much or sometimes more fun than the event, itself. Hmmmm. I think I'll go poke around in the barn in the decoration boxes to find a wreath to hangout on Gypsy. She looks like she could use a little spirit right now! ~G

Lou (loudruff) send some lovely cards that I haven't shown you all yet, and I just love them!
A spinner card (bee), a stamped frog card, and a flip card with a kit to try at home (I think I'd better wait til I see Lou again to get some expert advice)!! Thanks for the lovely cards, you know I save them!!

I didn't know Lou did that. All those cards are just beautiful. You know I was an art major in college and have had some magazine covers made of my dog portraits;however, I have groomed too many show dogs and worked at too many hospitals to be able to use my hands that way now. You do some wonderful work. My, we are a talented bunch aren't we?

I also loved the bears. Reminds me of the ones my mother and I collected long ago. They had a logo of two little feet, but I can't remember the name of them.

I'm sorry Paula I completely missed your question...

I was thinking of just different kinds of squirrels and birds - all pics I have posted somewhere on this thread I think.....Nothing overly complicated - I was just wondering.....

Hello girls,
Thought I would jump in here for a second. I'm at home, relaxing for the next couple days, I hurt my back somehow at work, so I'm going to nurse it back to full working order. Hope everyone has a great Holiday!

Yea, I just called my mom to see what she thought about helping my back, she said the heating pad will have to do. So I have 2 days to get my back in shape because I have to be to work at 11:45pm thanksgiving night and IM working until 8am. Busy night for us. I hope you have a nice time in AZ, I need to make a trip to NM soon, I have family there that I need to see.

Would someone kindly pass me a slice of codybear's apple pie. That sounds so good. I'm just gonna sit back with that and a cup of tea and admire Paula's fine bear sculpture. Very nice!

I've been in the kitchen all morning. Just pulled two pumpkin pies out of the oven and put in a dozen muffins. Finished the cranberry sauce and have it cooling in the fridge. After lunch I'm starting on the bread.

I hope you all are having a good Thanksgiving eve day (or whatever it's called.)

-J
