Dannie, I saw the pics on your blog... LOVE 'EM!!!!
We're back in Manchester in the airstream. 
Renewed our stay here for another month. The 10 hour/week commute savings for hubby is worth the extra expense.
I overdid it yesterday, but recovered quickly. All I did was got to Costco and the perimieter of the store. I now know my limit. not much planned for today. Will make a pot of potato soup and head to Walgreen's for some Christmas shopping.
Got a busy week ahead. Lots of travel to and from here and home.

Everyone is being so industrious, like elves and I hope all are mending well or will mend well or better still for the new year not have need for mending. 
Saw this graphic and thought I would share it with you. I adore Maxine! Does anyone have the picture of Maxine in front of her trailer?
Still a might early but I wish everyone a joyous season and hope you get just what you deserve. (That even sounds like Maxine doesn't it?) Actually Maxine would say, "Christmas is weird. What other time of year do you sit in front of a dead tree and eat candy out of your socks?"

Big laundry day here inthe airstream. Had a new electric blanket spew lint all over the place, been sweeping that up and now have a clean (hopefully llint free) blanket. Seriously. Bedroom is in front and there was lint all under the dinette in back! LOL! Oh and not lint bunnies, but lint elephants 
Knee feeling much better. At least able to get around without worrying about falling.
Been crocheting the heck out of potholders. found soemthing I'm good at!
Well, just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone.
Off to put laundry away... Got radio classics on the sattelite radio... Life of Riley is on right now. Love these vintage shows. Beats stuff on TV.

Hey Glad to hear that - keep up with the therapy very important.
I was given a bit of a reprieve - Surgery cancelled for tomorrow! - little glitch with the coverage - saving myself $700.00 by postponing to new calendar year...He only does surgery once a month in this area so I am now booked for Jan 21 - sure beats having Turkey Soup for Xmas!!!
Busy busy busy not much of doing laundry these days...hope all are well.

Good news on saving $$$ and being able to enjoy the holidays! Usually the $$ savings is to do it before the new year...Forget teh turkey soup and celebrate...WOO HOO!
recipe? here's the chicken one...
Will be driving back up to Nashville (home/condo) this morning after rush hour. Tomorrow my babies are coming to bake (nieces 21 and 25)... sigh.... They're not babies anymore... this is an Auntie Lois tradition.

OMG I just watched the ultimate woman's rally movie, Mama Mia. I laughed, no make that howled, I cried, no make that sobbed, and there is a sing along with lyrics, now who doesn't like Abba? Can't remember enjoying a movie that much in a long time. Be sure to catch it. Brad enjoyed it too and being that it was a musical, that is might high praise from him!!!

It's 66 degrees right now. Got up to 74 today here in Middle Tennessee... but don't hate us too long. On Sunday it's supposed to get into the teens!

don't let this green smile fool ya! 20 degrees and low of 16 possible with a nice snow storm and more coming. Now really who would want to give that up? OK so like I would.
Hey speaking of snow, there was a mini Rivette rush here the other night, Laura stopped over and we went to dinner, played cards, watched polar express, talked, and then the snow started so we made it an over nighter. Still we had to admit thoughts of Florida's warm coasts would be mighty inviting!
