Photography Rally at the North Rim

OK, two camp areas that seem centrally located relative to photo ops are Jacob Lake (nat forest CG) at the junction of ALT 89 and 67; and Lee's Ferry on Alt 89 on the Colorado river. Of course there are boondocking options as well. Ideas anyone?

This is what the Lee's Ferry RV camp looks like in Google Earth. You can zoom closer, but this view includes the Colorado River (clear, cold, and green here) for perspective. It's a little deceiving--the RV park is steeply up hill from the river.



Pretty baren, but still convenient to some interesting places. Can someone post photos of the other locations?

It just died under a lack of interest. I am still coming west but my schedule is uncertian at this point (family issues and such).
