Well Patsi, it could be a naked person jumping around a fire, dancing mindlessly caught up in the spirit of the time.

No such luck though.

All this and Campcollectors road flare bonfires? Man oh man - they'll be able to see us from the International space station! I guess we'll have plenty of marshmallow cooking oppertunities....

I'm Your Fire Dancer

I could dance with torches , but I thought this was a family excursion?

Actually I have no clue what a fire dancer is either.

Woops! didn't see we had another page and replied to soon. Now my fire dancer comment seems redundant and stupid.

But if Janet brings enough Merlot, there may be some people dancing around the fire, caught up in the spirit of the Vine.

Ok, can we just leave tonight, I'm so ready for a vacation and it has only been 3 weeks since school started. I feel like its Dec. 12th and I'm dying for Christmas Break already. I'm ready for the sound of waves, a little Merlot, crackling fire, and the sound of Janet's and Janet's husband's guitars.

Who's Counting ???

Less than three dozen days to BEVERLY, but who's counting?

Janet, did you recieve our check, and if so, are you sending out the blue dash cards or hanging on to them until we arrive? Either way works but please let us know. Mail service in this little town of 400 is not always perfect and is sometimes really bad!

Until then----Bob of Bob and Molly, But who's counting?

Wow, sounds like alot of fun. How often are there rallies or get togethers like this? We want to go but cannot and hope there will be another chance before october 2006.

The Northwest forums contingent does this 2 or 3 times a year. But there's just something special about October at Beverly beach... maybe it's because it's the last bash of the year, maybe it's the salt, maybe the road flare campfires.... I don't know - but it's great fun!

This year we had impromptu gatherings at Battleground State park and Troutlake OR as well. None of them have any official schedule other than a few community meals - a laid back good time.

I'm not one for planning too far ahead, but I think we should start thinking about doing Silver Falls next year. You probably have to plan way ahead to get in there. We'll discuss it at Beverly Beach.

I'm counting the days too...

Greetings.

Posting to reserve site 18 as well.

The inlaws decided they wished to go too. While they are not forum members, they are members of one of the Oregon airstream clubs. Can't recall off hand which. Some will recognize them from the joint rally at Lincoln City. They have a '55 Ford C60 vintage tow vehicle and a 23' '77 Safari.

I'm assuming that the list is up to date.

Yes, we remember them.
They were in the campsite next to ours at Lincoln City. I think they're members of the Western Oregon unit.

Look forward to seeing them, and their very special tow vehicle.

We're bringing ours.......it was a big hit at Belknap Hot Springs CG in August. I could've sold several to folks walking by. Maybe I'll start a second career selling these in campgrounds!

My husband was wondering if we need to bring costumes with it being almost Halloween? Maybe he would settle for a pumpkin carving contest.

We are currently having loads of fun trying to figure out what toilets will fit in the old girl. I think we will have to drive her to an RV place on Monday and just plop them down and see which ones fit. The specs on-line and on the boxes don't give enough information. It will be a tight fit.

Look at a sealand traveler lite model for a replacement potty - It was the only one we found that would fit in our tiny bathroom. You can view the specs on line at ppl - your local RV place can probably order it for you. We Love ours (in a totally platonic way of couse)....
