Steve,

I'll fire up the smoker and do some brisket to go with your pork. Becky can bake some brownies and chocolate gooey buttercake.

Can I bring an ingredient for the mixology lab?

Bill,

I was just trying to think up some nice retro cocktails. I know Artstream is a martini drinker!. I will add you for Brisket, brownies, and gooey butter cake. You could always save one of these for Saturday evening as well.

I am going to bring an assortment of mixology ingredients just in case.

Yep, my wife has to work that weekend. Same as Juel. I will post a sign and furthermore, in anticipation of the grand event, will bring my good friend Mr. Belvedere and his constant companion the Gray Goose.

And I will hoist the colors to RLee1120 and Juel and to nurses everywhere. I told my wife she shoulda been a school teacher like me, I got weekends and summers off.

Schedule of Events at Branson

Can anyone tell me if there is a schedule of events at the Branson Rally... If so, could you post it? I plan on attending, but will be staying at Fall Creek Resort due to membership.

Thanks...Tim

Tim,

We don't have an actual plan of events. We are very laid back, and people can do what they like.

The potluck Friday night will be around 600, and same for the chili cookoff/social hour on Saturday. We also plan to have movies after eating on Saturday night weather permitting.

Trailer tours for those willing and interested to be noon to three on Saturday.

As I said...very relaxed...no tuxedos required.

To Everyone,

Compton Ridge called and gave me everyone's spots for the rally. Some of you I know, and putting a forums name with real name isn't an issue. For others, I am having a hard time.

Please let me know what name you are registered under and I can post the map with our forum names.

Names that I have already are:

Wolverine 1
Artstream 2
Alumatube 3
Soldiermedic 4
Jim Lee 6
nohillgrish 8

Hookedonclassic 16
jcanavera 22
rickastream 27
mcdowell58....2 spots actually WOOHOO! 28 and 37
Jaxon 29
waltero 30
silverflash 31
2wired 33
Billberk 35

We did lose Juel, Zamboni and 76sovereign , but the rally will go on!

dmoore -- registered under Patrick or Deborah Moore. When I made and reaffirmed the reservation I was told by the folks at Compton Ridge that we were Site #42.

Also, I plan on entering the Chili Competition (if it's not too late) and will contribute to the Friday night potlock (not sure what yet).

This is our first rally and we are looking forward to meeting everyone -- have enjoyed all the comments on the forum!

Another spot opens...

Compton Ridge just let me know they have an open slot for an Airforums member. Time to get off the fence and sign up. This rally is looking up to being great. Who would have known back in Christmas 2006????

RL1120 was able to find a nurse to cover her shifts the weekend of the rally. So she will be able to make the rally! RALLY ON!

Got the suburban back from the transmission shop and we are ready to go vehicle wise, still need to put some more work into the Airstream.

Looking forward to spot number 6!

Best wishes for a great rally, everyone! We've camped before in the Branson area in October and it is delicious We thought long and hard about joining you, but we'll be meeting friends in Northern Minnesota for fall foliage drives this month. However, we'll be thinking about you and hoping that you post lots of pictures, proof of all the fun you'll be having! ~G

I just received a call from waltero, and he will not be able to make the rally. That means we again have another spot available for the rally. Let's get someone to fill the spot!

There has to be someone out there who has been on the fence.
