Rally, Felton Ca.?????
Big Dee, I've heard rumors of a vintage rally in Felton. Can't find any info. Have you heard or have any knowledge of it? My sources said next weekend.

Look on Facebook for "Trailers in the Trees"
There is a rally for vintage trailers at Smithwoods RV park off Hwy 9 in Felton, CA next weekend.. Organized by Vintage Camper Trailers group.. On Facebook page there is info and phone number to call organizer and try to get reservation...

Really Neil?
Because it seems that our 2003 100th Anniversary Road King exacerbates aluminitus and is a vector for fiberglass runaboutitis and leaky old wooden boatitis.

Robert;
I have NO clue as to how that "plank" got attached to my message, or for that matter the blinking smiley face that replaced the plumber on the bike.
I think some moderator has too much time on his keyboard.
only thing "vintage" around here is me.
hope your family is doing well, getting any sleep yet?

Tim,
It looks like our friendly neighborhood moderator maybe slinging the sticky stuff and changing pictures. Come on Tim, I was at the Felton Rally this past weekend and we seen Vintage and your not even close to it. Oh yeah, I should nock on wood before I say this, but here it goes. The boy has been sleeping in his own bed and sleeping threw the night.

This is funny. I admit that I'm not an english major by any means. I just re-read my own comment and I notice something right away. The word threw should be spelled like through. Also someone made the type bold. I wonder who?

QUESTION AUTHORITY
that's correct Robert...
spelling ain't meaning much tooo mmeee tho. just so long as I get the jest of things..
anyway a nock is the thingy on an arrow that is notched to accept the bow string. moving along to threw, at first I was a little concerned as I was thinking "hurl" kind of threw. like the boy puked in his sleep all night long. So I was wondering what type of mattress evacuation system you had built for his bed. But now I understand fully.
also I understand that bold type on internet forums usually is meant to be "elevated level" of communication.
I'ld rather wear mirrored sunglasses to get my point across. know what I mean Luke?
A shotgun don't hurt much either, cradled in ones arm.
so then you got the shotgun in one arm, baby in thother (swamp speak) and a bucket of barf on the flo in front of ye.
some life.
so today I'm yanking the fridge and building a false wall to Dometic specs to improve the airflow, chimney effect, airflow over the coils thing.I'm concerned that I may not have enough room for the 30 degree ramp uo to the coils then the 5 degree roll over, venturi engineering thing. liquid dynamics.
Liquid dynamics-- already started with a little kahlua in my joe this morning.

fridge mods
Here's a few shots of the mods to the fridge compartment. I had room for 1 1/2" insulation on left side and 2 layers of solar bubble on right side, 3" above fridge. That should help.
The install instructions indicate that a close clearance rear wall is necessary to provide optimal chimney/cooling over coils.
I plugged it in and it's cooling down quickly. We'll see how it does on a 100 degree day.
maybe I should start a thread describing the process.
