Wow what fun. I am sorry I missed it. Work calls though. Things are heating up here finally and making it comfortable to work in the hangar. Look forward to seeing some of you next year!

WOW...what fun at the river! I didn't get to meet everyone but those that I did were the best. I am working on my "screen name"... so I'm not so exposed . Looking forward to s'more trips...Jim and leslie, thanks for the beer and dodgeball?! Stan my new vintage streamer buddy, Cam my mentor, Big D, and all of you who hope I don't get your personal emails. I promise I won't stalk the streamers. And this is my first post. Do I win something? (a chicken maybe Kvbo) Great time thanks again!

Great photos, Codybear! (Isn't that red Argosy a perfect gem in all that silver?) Glad you're home safe. Still feeling spoiled with that teriyaki abalone and those delectable pies.
We're also home and back to reality, but those pictures make me wish we weren't! That rally was truly a seminal event for us. Who knew that doing something so different was going take us even deeper into the silver addiction? Great, amazing, funny, interesting, diverse, and totally welcoming group. And all those gorgeous Airstreams! From the patina and soul of the vintage beauties to the vavoom of the new models (I'm still twitching with envy over the "Ocean Breeze" duet we had.) Not to mention the awesome waycoolnotatalltacky Moho. What a turnout.
I think we'll be back for seconds...
Hope everyone made it home safe and sound.
So glad we opted for the 19-280 route and missed the Richmond Bridge debacle. Thanks for the warning Slowolf.
And Buttercup, we're waiting impatiently for those beautiful (and very contest winning) panos you took.
Kristiana, we missed having you Sun., but glad you made the decision to get some needed rest!
Our thanks and best wishes to all,
Jane and Terry

What a Rally!
We're still in route, sitting on the beach in Pismo and eating ice cream. (This is camping!) (These SOB people aren't half as much fun as airstreamers!)
What a rally~the weather, the wine, the silver, and best of all the people.
Thanks Big Dee for getting and keeping it all together. Janet, I really, really want the recipe for Russian Cream, pm me. Sue T, kickball & cocktails, what a hoot, don't forget you owe me a drink @ the next rally! Good luck Cam on the mattress pad and the shades. Steve, the directions were perfect, nice intact roads, thanks mucho,hi to Paula. Hope to see everyone at the next rally and on the road!

It's All But Over
Just a few left now. Otters, Guy and Marian99, anholman, Blu Hwy Lady, Doorgunner, asherkobin, and us. We had our last potluck with the Otters and the 99s. More great food, wine, and conversation. This is our 6th rally and we continue to be amazed at how a group of people, many of whom have never met, can come together for a few days and just enjoy each others company. Lots of younger folks showing up too. Here are a few more pictures.

panos???
Pano?? You are worried about a pano but who is gonna clean this all up? Believe it or not, we went back after taking this shot to sit by the fire and have a night-cap. Kimber saw this view and wanted me to take a pano. So with the battery flashing angry red I clicked away until the camera quit.
But this shot says it all - the end of a wonderful day and evening.

SSssshhhhhhhh - here comes the ranger! BTW, we met her on the way out. Apparently, she is not only the law at 2:00 in the morning but she is the garderner in the afternoon. She was pulling weeds at the entrance.

Here are more pics. I am still working on the panos. Among these is the best shirt at the rally (that I saw anyway), More singing pictures (Bin Bin, you were so cute!, Cat - what a voice and Karin - impressive fiddle and also Paul, the guitar and songs - wonderful). Thanks Ron for bringing out the portable fire pit (I still have maershmallow on my shoes from where the kids were roasting them over the flame). We are still talking about how much fun we had. Say...does anybody think that Casini will even let us come back next year?

Home safe. Didn't want to leave and still don't want to let it go. All the pix help. Good friends called as we passed thru Vacaville on our way home to order us to their house for BBQ. We plopped Bambi in their drive and they plied detail reports with wine, and we were happy to say Casini was GREAT!! We were warmly received, entertained, and very well fed. Thanks to one and all for inviting us in to the fun side of AS rallies.

Great rally all! So MANY nice people here this time that I didn't even get a chance to talk to everyone. Fantastic display of silver (and some red). The after hours late night group may not be invited back (insert winky smily here) but we had a sssshhhing good time.
Beautiful area and perfect weather. So much food and *ahem* drink. Outstanding entertainment (who knew there was all that hidden talent). And the Pancake Breakfast fundraiser Sunday morning was fun too. So many things to do, not enough time!
Hope all the eastern travelers missed the traffic snarls on the way home.
As soon as we recover from all the fun we need to do it again.
Cheers,
Bamapalooza
PS...Thanks to the mystery donor for the cute Airstream letter opener.
