I dont' know if you folks are coming up or coming down, but the consensus here is that neither was too bad. 116 was pretty good from both directions. Of course, once you get here, it's all good.

Ron,
Did you take 116 straight off 101 or did you take the River Road exit above Santa Rosa, which becomes 116?

Hi Ron,

We'll be coming from 80 and eventually will take River Road and stay on it..it worked well for us ( a little road work last Wednesday I recall) but otherwise smooth sailing (?)..see you soon

Hi, sure looks great there. I hope all the fun isn't used up before we [Bob & Lee] get to Casini. I will be pulling my trailer out of my driveway on my lunch hour tomorrow. After work tomorrow we will finish loading the trailer and we will try to hit the road early Friday morning. Are we going to be the last ones there? Some of us still have to work for a living. [Me, Lee is retired] Keep space 52-B warm for us. See all of you sometime Friday after noon.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Peep (most of you have met Peep or his cousin Peep, or his other cousin Peep) was contacted by his long lost evil brother Spike. Spike blew in to town on a tall ship and he was packing a short dog (his term). Spike, who lost an eye in an unfortunate shmelting accident, is spending most of his time at the Tiki Bar. We can't seem to get him out of there. So when you come by on the walking tour, please try to ignore the bawdy bar room songs, the incessant belching, and the generally crude behavior. Peep is so embarrassed.

Some last minute packing an we are off to Eureka and the sequoiacoast family. Tomorrow a.m. sequoiacoast and NorCal Bambi will be heading to the Rally. It's good to be on the road again.

Brokers open house starts at 11 so I won't get away until 1:30 or so. Marley and I should be pulling in about 3pm. He's pretty quiet so I had to put his name on my departure checklist.

Hello fellow travelers.
Don't forget the River Road exit off 101 is at the far NORTH end of Santa Rosa.

There are loads of birds here...herons, ducks, and large groups of very arrogant geese. They swoop in and land in the large puddle behind my trailer. They looked Ed right in the eye and told him off.

We had some lovely wine last night and tried to be as loud as possible to scare away the SOB's but it didn't work and they are still here. They love my trailer and keep coming by to poke their noses in. One of them came by bearing gifts (firewood). Very nice people...so-so trailer.

It sounds like a lot of people are arriving today. So hurry up all!

Avis and I will not be bringing "Roscinante" to the party. I have to fly out this weekend for a work-related conference. We have cancelled our site reservation (129?). However, we will stop by and bring something for the pot luck if that is OK with the group.

They're starting to roll in now. We got: DandB^2, janetb, Otters, Luminati, myoung, kristiana, codybear, TIMEMACHINE, Big Dee, and finncrew in today to join the 4 groups that were already here. Double L showed up to join Doorgunner and were doing the wine tasting at their place at 1800 hours. Another tough night of Airstreaming lies ahead. Just spotted another arrival. Gotta go over and see who it is.
