Lynn and I leave Placerville in the morning at 5am. We gotta get past the 'going to work' crowd in Sacramento. We meet up with Doorgunner at Camping World in Cordelia. We will take a leisurely route avoiding freeways as much as possible.

ATTENTION; Vintage owners. I made up a few suicide door latches for you. I did not 'finish' them up as much as I would like to have. If you think you can use one stop by space 52a. Price is FREE! I think I had promised one to someone in our group so I made up several. You paint them or whatever but they are to prevent your vintage suicide door from unexpectedly punching a door knob size hole in the side.

Departure window open, time to be determined by OIC upon assesment of crew functionality prior to said departure time. Rondevous time at CW critical status, will comply with Air Central Command at all costs. Situational awarness data compiled and awaiting detailed assessment. T minus approx 10 hours and counting.

The new Moho is great. Looks like the body is in great condition. Can't wait to see it on Thursday.

Final countdown, Looks like I'll be able to meet my wingman on time. And I do believe we will NOT be getting on 101 or 37. Taking ths "Americana" back roads! Will relay travel info via either Bam or Str8 when we meet up at the ranch. Gotta make a quick stop for more Zinellium crystals, Scotty in engineering thinks it necessary. So see ya all there! DG

Let's see. We left the Slowolf's place at about 0700 and got in here at about 1430. Ouch. That was a long drive. But I was only cruising between 55 and 60. The trip through SF was very easy at noon. Light traffic across the Golden Gate, etc. Lots of flagmen and repairs on 116 but only minor delays. The campground is very green and the weather is pleasant. A little cloudy but comfortable temp. Doorgunner, anholman, BamCamper and us, so far. Come on folks, we're ready to start rallying!

it was touch and go at work concerning getting tomorrow off but its now all systems GO!!!! Look out you early arrivals because i'll be pulling in tomorrow. can't wait to sample DG's vintner delights and relax among the redwoods. see you all soon!

Hey All,
I was able to cut out of work early so we will be joining the Thursday crew. Bin and I are very excited. Our first rally! Count us in for the pot luck - we are bringing - Tony's Wings (spicy cajun style) and apple pie from Apple Hill.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing the shochu!
