June 10th-12th, Moraine View State Park, Leroy, Il.

Always the second weekend in June, we are now within the 6 month sign-up window, so getting this info out there for returnees and newbies wanting to attend the longest, continuous AirForums rally.

Always a great time.

Our fearless leaders, Jack and Patti Canavera, have been struggling with health issues, but will hopefully be able to join us this year.

Chime in, please, Jack.....I am starting this without you, for the sake of reservations.

I am reserved in F5, and P & F loops are the preferred, lakeside area....but, as it fills up, anything will do and is close to the group.

Good people come to this rally, and it is always a very enjoyable few days.

I am sorting oddly shaped and too-big-for-the-woodstove firewood already, in the hopes we will have weather conducive to campfires.

We will be at P17 ... nice view of forest and lake! (and no wind! our awning will be safe! LOL) Arriving late on Thursday (someone has to go to work here

but as soon as that school bell rings, I'm outta there and we are on our way!

Russel's on P21. Well, maybe just Don. Right now, I have committed to quilting that weekend with my bff while her husband is away on a golfing trip. I have now made this weekend a repeating event with no expiration date on my calendar so I don't miss this ever again!!

maccamper is in Site P15. Plan to set up on Thursday and leave on Monday morning.

However . . . we may arrive later or leave earlier. We have a niece with a baby boy due to arrive within that timeframe in Southern Illinois.

I just looked at the availability of sites, there are 4 in P loop and 3 in F loop. That is 7 sites out of 20. This on Reserve America.

We picked up f6 for us and f8 for pops. For the younger airstreamers with kids this is a great rally, there is a nice park playground, beach, clean shower houses, fishing pier, pontoon rentals and we airstreamers have taken over an entire loop so vehicle traffic is minimal. We have a 5 year old boy who loves to scooter around and ride his bike. So come on out and have some s'mores and let the kids have a wonderful, safe time. Our son loves all his Airstream grandparents but really want some other kids to play with. Reserve your sites soon, they fill up fast.
