I had to teach at the new GM plant just outside of Lansing. It was a blast. I have spent A LOT of time on the road for my job. I am growing VERY tired of airports, rental cars, hotel rooms and restaurants. It is so much nicer when I can come back to the trailer to my own place and build a fire! Try to do that in a hotel room and they will kick you out for sure!
I have found a nice campground just outside of Spring Hill, TN. Like I said, if anyone wants to come along it sure would be welcome company!

I have been pretty busy. Amazing what can happen to your life in a short expanse of time.
Work is good but being a single dad sure takes some getting used to.

I don't need to know that, as long as you make sure she is full I promise I will be back before she is empty! Now I just need to think of where to go...I think Silverlake Sand Dunes has a state park and they allow motor vehicles on the dunes!! How good did you say those tires are? I'll need to borrow the Diesel Liberty as well!

Spring is...well.....coming sometime

Hopefully Old Jack Frost got it out of his system with this last storm, 12" here yesterday. Geez.

Anyhow, Felix comes out of storage in 6 days and our first journey (Lexington, KY) is in 16 days. After that my dance card is pretty empty. What can we plan to fill it up?

I am sooo! confused. Your right Dave, you can go to Nashville and back on a tank of fuel. We usually stop at the flying J on the FL,GA stateline when we go to FL. and the flying J just west of Omaho,NE when we go to AZ. or TX.
Actually, I will take you anywhere you want to go in the MH as long as you pay for the fuel and my eats and graces if she comes along. We have done this several times for people.
Carol, the fuel tank holds 150 Gal. of fuel and we average about 8.5 to 10 mpg depending on having the generator on or not. The generator burns about a 1/2 gal per hr. at 3/4 load.
Glad to see you back Felix64'. Hope to see you at a rally this summer. If not we will see at the museum in a couple of months with the grandkids. Be sure to drop by if you see the MH in the lot and have lunch with us.
Silvertwin, just for you I will install sand tires.

Never mind the piggy banks kids cash in those CDs. Now if Buck and Grace can cram about ten of us in and we divide that up that would be... Just teasing, our set-up runs about the same on gas, we just have to stop a whole lot more often!!! A guided tour by Buck and Grace in the lap of luxury is a good deal for sure. Besides how much could they possibly eat?

Buck, let me know BEFORE you come to the Museum, I'll leave some tickets for you! And, I'll probably take you up on that offer for lunch
