Oh boy! Now ya gone and done it!
Sorry I have not been on in such a long time. Shut-down at the plant means it is time for us little "automation gremlins" to come out and mess up the equipment before the start of production! I have been really busy with work and my own start-up biz, (automation engineering services)! Wish me luck!
As for the activities.... I am sad to report that I have not been able to get in touch with Jeff Terry who supplied us with all the goodies we gave away last year. Please do not hold it against me. If ya do, it will not really bug anyway...
I have also been thinking about what I want to do for the potluck. Last year I had four smoked chickens! Now we have 19 units! Holy CRAP! Where am I gonna get that much chicken??? I do believe I will have to raid the truck that delivers to the local KFC.
As for games? What about a Euchre tournament? Horseshoe tournament? Standing on one leg tournament? Dance-off? Musical chairs? Jarts, (I wonder if they still make those things?) tournament?
Come on! Let's get the creative juices flowing here!

OMG! Annie and Marvin's sweet potato casserole is worth stealing to get some! I think I licked the pot out last time!

Of course floats sound good!
Alexandra and Grace will be your best buddies if you have ice cream with you.
I am already best buddies with anyone bringing REAL Canadian beer!

You guys are really gonna make it? AWESOME!
Here is a little formula I came up with:
>C = >B
(Whereas C=Canadians and B=Beer)!

Well, at least we will both be able to crack one open and shoot the bull a little.
I see you are in the IBEW! I work on the automation that guys like you wire in. We will have lots to shoot the bull about!

I second the opinion on Annie and Marvins sweet potatoes, VERY YUMMY!! none left last year!!
As for my best dish, "carry out" my husband says. But friends say I do a pretty mean steak and chicken marinade how about steak and chicken kabobs??
As for the beer issue, definately our canadian friends make a tasty beverage, but for me they can't beat a good Kentucy bourbon

I am not much of a "hard stuff" fan. If you want instant ass with a touch of Lou just add hard stuff!
Well, I am half Kentukian and half Yooper. This makes for a confusing mix. I like pasties with black-eyed peas.
I cannot say anything bad about what my fellow rednecks make. I like Kentucky bourbon more than I like Tennessee Whiskey. YUCK!

Euchre

A progressive euchre game would be good and could raise some money too.

I was a croquet master when I was younger! We played when we camped.
Also, the old Jarts ROCK! Make sure no one is in your pitching area though!
Bring it all along!
