May 2016 Pismo Rally
Pismo North beach Spring Rally is just around the corner. Reservations opened up this morning on Reserve America. This is the same weekend as the Pismo Coast Vintage Trailer Rally. May 19th through Sunday the 22nd.
OMeet and greet will be Friday night and pot luck Saturday night. More information later.
The central coast is beautiful this time of year. Close to San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and many Wineries.
All are welcome! Hope to see you there.

I'm new to this. I have an old 1967 tradewind that's still in rough condition. It's a project that I'm cleaning up. Is there a group of airstream owners staying in one particular park? Is there room for someone new?

Steve thanks for setting up the rally calendar. For those that were unable to get a site I'll list some other campgrounds that are nearby in the area. Every ones welcome at the pot luck site 28, even if your just there for the day come on by.
These campgrounds are listed by distance the first one being closest.
Just south of Pismo) La Saga Riviera rv park 805-489-5506, Ocean Memorial Campground 805-781-5930, Pacific Dunes Ranch 805-489-7787, Ocean Dunes Natural Presrve 805-773-7170.
North of Pismo) Avila Hot Springs 805-596-2359, there's also camping along the water just North West of the Avila Pier but I don't see the name, will try to update latter.
Further North) El Choro Regional Park I mention this even though it's a 10 to 15 minute drive because they have an overflow area that always seems to have space 805-781-5930, and last but not least Moro State Park its half hour at least but a beautiful park 805-772-2560.

Hi Everyone: Sherry and I are in, and look forward to seeing all our Kern River friends and some new ones. Arriving at MB State Park Sunday to Wed, and Pismo from Wed night to Sun May 22. Guess what, we own two sites so one is available for that special someone

OK - how is the drop in success rate at the other parks during this weekend? Is this a don't come without a reservation kind of deal, or are only the close to PB sites booked? Pat

Hard to say, but that weekend is close to Memorial weekend and camping gets busy on the coast. There are also other county campgrounds that Cris didn't mention, Lopez Lake, Santa Margarita Lake, Coastal Dunes and Oceano county campground SLO County Parks & Recreation: Camping. Also the camping that Cris mentioned near Avila is Port San Luis RV Camping | Port San Luis Harbor District - Official Websiteand is run by the Port San Luis Harbor District. It's bayside camping and all walkup but get there early as there are usually people waiting for a spot.
