Mike, thanks for checking out the options. Any of the three locations would work for us. All three would be beautiful in October.

Moraine View (MV) is familiar and we know what to expect.

However, trying a different place is intriguing. I just want a location with flush toilets and a good area to play bocce ball.

We should decide on a location soon so we can reserve sites near each other. Thoughts anyone on why any of the 3 locations would especially work or not work for Oct 12 - 15?

My biggest concern is that these alternate locations would add an additional couple of hours for Brian and Joann, who are regular attendees and already have a 9 hour drive up to Moraine View.

We break the trip up into two days on the way up so we make it a bit of an adventure anyway. The trip home is brutal, but maybe Jo Ann can sneak an extra day off?

The nice thing about MV is that it is known, including our preferred loop.

I vote "yes" to keep the same place and time for this October. Maybe talk about an alternate location for Oct 2018?

Maggie, good point about Mount'n Man's driving distance and they did say they'd see us in the fall . . .

When asked in June for suggestions, I said that I had camped at both. Both had loops same as MV, only larger.
I agree (darn) with Nancy Mac; same for now and discuss for next time.
This is a GROUP decision, VOTE NOW.
