I'm ready for Bocce Ball -- if we can stay in the shade!

Hope you have a smooth drive down to Moraine View. We'll be driving over Thursday to set up; then coming back out Friday to stay till Monday.

Will you all be doing your traditional pizza in town Thursday evening?

Just finishing the ice cream base for Saturday evening. Anything else we need to plan for? We'll be there Thursday afternoon. With the new "crib"!

We'll be out Thursday mid day...

Bringing frogeye salad for Friday night, NOLA chicken & rice for potluck Saturday, along with a jar of Rumtopf to go with the ice cream.

I will also have Molasses Crinkles, freshly baked Thursday morning.

Weather looks to be warm Friday & Saturday, but not as bad as it has been here, and so far there is no rain in the forecast.

I always bring more of a main dish for the Saturday potluck, rather than a side, but there is always plenty of food.

Jack's tradition was for everyone to bring their own meat to the potluck, then something to share....

It looks as if all who are coming, but for Gerard & Laura, are old timers who know the water at MV is safe but unpalatable.

I have emailed them, but if anyone is coming who hasn't made their presence known....be sure to bring a full tank of freah water.

We're bringing an antipasto salad for Friday and sliced heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella and fresh basil for Saturday.

I was going down I-355 and I spotted a beautiful Safari in front of me and I squee'd, you can imagine my surprise when I rolled into Moraine View and found a whole bunch of you guys here! Sadly, I'm not part of the 'cool' kids in the F Loop, but I'll be at E-5 all weekend!

Cheers fellow streamers!

You are most welcome to join us .... we're just an informal group of folks who have been getting together for several years now. We always welcome new friends along the way.

Just stroll on down and make yourself at home. I can pretty much guarantee some of us will make our way to E5 to invite you to join us if you don't make it down our way first.

We'll see you tomorrow.

9:30 and we just rolled in... Any way you cut it, it's a long way from MVSP to Cedarcreek!!! Glad we were able to say "goodbye" this morning, though. You guys are such a fun group! Thanks again, and see you in the fall (if not sooner).

It was a lovely weekend, indeed, and didn't Gerard and Laura fit in as if they had always been a part of this group!

Til next year....

Left @9:05 and home 12:33pm.
Another great rally with 17 A$ and 1 sob (will have to paint it silver) as they fit right in; Fred and Joan.
We had 2 visitors (Erin, member of Northern Illinois with A$, and also a retro Shasta, Randy & Laura.)
Had a GREAT time with GREATER campers; see ya"ll soon.
We checked Jubilee College on way home; 3 loops, Fox , ? and Woodchuck. Woodchuck being best in my opinion; but???? It's 25 mi North of Peoria 30 miles South of Kewanee. Kewanee has 2 CG's that are also nice with more to do. I'm NOT suggesting change, was asked for ideas. Check map.
You all can check it.

I checked on Moraine View, Jubilee College (N of Peoria) and Sauk/Johnson (Kewanee).
P 19 MV taken; Jubilee College 3rd loop open and Kewanee Chief Keokuk most open.
This is for 10/12-15. These are thoughts for October; the decision is yours.
