One note about dogs...they don't allow dogs (or people for that matter ) to swim in the lake.

Hmmmm...
That's not hard for me to decide ... I 'need' the water to be about 82 degrees!
Now...do you 'really' think we could keep some of our buddies from spontaneously jumping in??? Will there be a 'doggie' corner?
(remembering 'Sherlock' DeeOHGee attending Pot Luck at 29Palms...!)LOL

Laurel, I like the cheeseburger idea. We could keep it simple, or go gourmet and pull out all the stops...the possibilties are endless!
Should we each bring the meat we want to grill and then sign up for a fixin'? I have a little propane grill I can bring, but we may need two because mine is kind of small.
Thanks for the rib offer, Excella3287! Sounds like cheeseburgers may be our choice for Sat night.

That's great Michelle! The more the merrier.
I think the BYOG(rill item) works well. Bring your own individual burger-type item (could be chicken, veggie, plain ol' burger...whatever you like) and we'll all share appetizers, side dishes, beverages (wink), desserts etc. It seems that at every rally we have tons of food left over. It's always good for a re-run lunch the next day.

I'm not sure yet. Sammy, litter mate of Annie on the right, is a bit more tolerant of change, so he'd probably be my companion of choice. Also a very sweet little guy, but much more easy-going than the girls.

Kip, I'd be glad to be part of the rib transport. Very generous of you! I'm assuming they're frozen and will hold well for a month?

Hey Chicas!
Hey Y'all,
Michelle- glad you're joining our silver posse, welcome!
Kip- thanks for the travellin' ribs (sounds like a jug band ) very sweet of you.
I'll bring my grill with veggie burgers & turkey burgers & buns. Something
tells me we're going to have enough food to feed the entire campground...!
How about day trips / hiking?
Lastly, I don't think Rosie was into cocktail waitressing (those damn stillettos), so to honor her, I'll bartend instead!
I've got my Rosie outfit all picked out and ready to go (I kid you not).
(Must be the Kevbo influence )
Girlios, channel your inner Rosie - Do a search of "denim Jumpsuit" on Ebay- there are some serious hot Rosie numbers on there!
Big Love to the Shiny Silver Sista's!
~Kristiana
I've gotta lay off the smilies, they're addictive !

I just did a little planing.
If I leave the mothership as planned on March 16th and I do not encounter any delays I will be there Thursday the 22nd.
What is left that I will needto pick up along the way?

When you have finished with that rally, why not head to Tucson for the 2nd 4CU event.

This is exciting. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone, although I'm not feeling very solid about getting down there on my own. But I will get there somehow! Does it look like we're going to be able to get sites together?
I'll be wearing my silver toenail polish and my new "Kristiana" trailer earrings, and I'll be the one with the A/S flailing like a mad viper behind me.
Stay clear! But please feel free to offer to back in, disengage, and proffer restorative spirits...
Cheers,
Janet

Just a few weeks away!
Wow, it's hard to believe our rally is just a few weeks away. I'm really forward to seeing my homies again, and to meeting some new silver sistas!
I am so ready for some r & r and some "alone" time with my trailer (first time without the family in tow!) My husband will be "spotting" me on my maiden voyage to the campground, but I plan to do as much on my own as possible. So, no wisecracks about my non-exsistent trailering skills or my half-polished trailer!
Kristiana, puppy is great and busy doing all things puppy. He's such a sweetie and a joy to have around. I'm considering bringing him to his first rally, but we'll see...I may want to leave ALL the kids at home!

No worries...we all need help backing in. Even the pros do!
Not sure about the sites until we get there. They don't take reservations but we will try to get a bunch together.
Kristiana can you bring some Airstream jewelry for us to browse and/or buy??? Please?
Looking forward to seeing you all!
