Anyone out there having second thoughts about possibly postponing to a later date? This pandemic isn't going away anytime soon and we all need to stay safe.

As of now, Sue, Cheryl and I are still planning to "Rally" that weekend, although the Rally activities will be different that what we have been doing in the past. If the Park is still open and we are the only trailer there, we'll still enjoy camping. We'll see what happens since so many venues are being closed by Government mandate.

I feel that safe, careful interacting with other people is crucial for minimizing the spread of any sickness, much less Covid 19. I also know that having _no_ interaction is even safer. A risk/benefit analysis is made every time I do something (don't go there with my diet, OK), and while a lot of people are killed and maimed by car crashes everyday, I still drive for example.

If this Rally must be changed (and a wait and see may be best), I will think of it as cancelled and a new Rally born. Even if not changed, every potential attendee must weight the risks and decide how best to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Keep safe and clean often!

Phil

We’re on the list and still on the fence. We don’t even know if we can make it down from Vermont due to closures on the way.

We are following the guidelines and recommendations from the President and the Governor of GA. At this time, those guidelines would permit holding the rally. We will re-assess late next week. If we do need to make a change, we will look at alternative dates and post our information here.

Based on the continuing restrictions associated with COVID-19, I will be working with the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds to identify alternative dates for the GA Mountain Air in May and early June. We recommend that those who have reservations NOT cancel those reservations. I will communicate the alternate plans, dates, and method of moving reservations.

If you have any questions, please send me a note at “eroney@aol.com”.

Thanks

Matt

Thanks for the update Matt, we will hold our reservations for now and hope we can see everyone in May or June! Lately and sadly, our calendar has a lot of X marks over a lot of dates. Stay safe out there everyone.

Unfortunately, ours has also been vacant. On the bright side, we are using the time to move!

Look forward to seeing you soon.
