Great Time in Hiawassee

Beth and I had a great time seeing everyone in Hiawassee! Thanks to Ron and Brenda, Bill and Robin, and Lynetta and Brian.

Hope to see everyone in October (5 - 7) at the GA Mountain Air - Fall 2018!

Another storm picture by another talented Sanders......This shot is from Lynnetta at the back of our trailer. Brian is there still keeping the fire going while others have fled A really fun weekend and it was great to see everybody. We have our site reserved for Fall and get your reservations in soon, the park is filling fast!

Sorry.....this site can be annoyingly clunky sometimes. I can't for some reason, post the beautiful picture from Lynnetta of the storm now....you'll just have to trust me. Lynnetta, if you want to, please do.

I drove by the Top of Georgia yesterday on the way home not knowing about the storm and tornado. Luckily, the road had been just cleared as it would be tough to turn around. A lot of trees down on buildings and a couple on some Airstreams. A real mess for them. So happy there was no rally or many people there. One picture I saw was a chair leg through the aluminum side of a trailer.

Had a great time thanks everybody that works so hard for us to enjoy camping. We have about 30 plus pics of the weekend, if I can figure out how to link them somewhere I will post them. But here are a few of the storm etc.

Thank you to all the powers that be for providing a wonderful weekend in Hiawassee last weekend. Grateful that the storm split north and south around our group in the campground.
It was especially nice that the airstream folks welcomed the 1992 B-190 camper that we are bringing back to life slowly. There were only 1200 made over the years of manufacturing and probably only 600 on the road now. We have a strong connection with the B190 Enthusiasts.com site but, love camping with the Airstream mainstream.
