Rally organizers

Here are some suggested steps if you wish to include a linked image in the left border rotation on the portal page.
  • Produce a high quality background graphic 4-6 times larger than the final 140 x 140 pixel size. This must be square and a multiple of 160 is suggested for a smooth reduction.
  • Save a version of that graphic without text.
  • You can have a version with text, but please save both versions. Preview a copy of the text version reduced to 140 x 140 size.
  • And then contact Janet 4-7 days before you intend to enroll participants. I can serve as an alternate but will refer these projects to Janet if she is available.
  • If you would like us to design a graphic for you, we will be happy to help - just ask.
  • Post your event to the forum rally calendar here. Your rally ad will be linked to that posting and so it must be in place before the rally graphic goes up.
We'll be glad to work with you. Just give it the necessary time please.

For more info and help with rally planning, check out our step by step rally planning guide.

We are interested in seeing the calendar of rallies coming up this fall. Anyone have this calendar to share?

You can find rally information in the drop down box at the top of the page.

Go to "PORTAL"

Scroll down, just shy of the bottom.... THAR Y'ARE!

(I do however wish they'd put the State on every listing... I was getting all hot and bothered wanting to go to a rally near "three rivers" - thinking Pittsburgh where the Monongahela and Allegheny join to create the Ohio River) and lo and behold there's another one. Ditto for MORAINE View. Sigh. )

Talking No help

There are no drop downs at the page top. I can't find portal anywhere on the site. If they want us to use this damn app then it should be more accurate.

I hate to give up on this forum cuz I used to like it so much but it's just a pain to use.

Is there any other site that has info on rallies?

What are you using to access? Computer with web browser? iPad or iPhone app? Android tablet or phone app? We can't really help you until we know where the problem is. The "Portal" instructions work for the web browser, but maybe not for the apps.

Lexxy ~ If viewing on a computer - at the top of the page there are "tabs" in the header picture…they say:

Portal…. Forums …. Registry …. Photos …. Classifieds …. Rallies …. More

(See the photo below)

Each of those have drop downs (or will taken you the that section) for more specific information. Click on what you want and go from there ~

If you are using a hand held app, post what you are using and someone can help.

This really is the best place for "one stop shopping"…yes things have changed a bit since you first joined - but it's mostly for the better! Stick with it, you will soon be an ol' pro again. Hang in there and glad to have you back ~

I also am on an IPad most of the time. The regular web site works perfectly on the IPad.

I have given up on the app....maybe they will redesign it to work. I use my iPad while camping and would love to use it but....not worth it and the forum is too helpful to forsake so I'll just use the net.
At least I don't feel so alone....thanks!
