Unfortunately I didn't see this until this morning and the site is already gone. If anyone else has a site they don't need please PM me directly.
We have some friends from South Carolina that have just recently found out they could come. Their brother is staying in A-21 and we are in A-24...right now he is camping in the D section.
Thanks, G

Looks like I may be bringing a different camper this time, I am the proud new owner of a 1991 Ford 190-B Airstream .... I was the winning bid on Ebay and might go pick it up this weekend or next. First time buying anything off of ebay and yes i am a little nervous but it seems like a great deal. Only problem is it's in South Florida and I need so time to go get it. We will just see how it all shakes out.

Congratulations on the acquisition of this B-van. I tried to get my mom to bid on it, (she is only about 50 miles from the location) but she decided against it.

She was concerned about the cost of fixing the dash air conditioning and the cost of repairing the generator. That, plus she kind of lost interest in camping...at least for the time being. I was following the bidding and agree I think you got a great deal.

I've been reading the flooding stories with concern for all of you in Northern Georgia. Hope the campground is in the hills and hope even more that everyone is safe and sound on high ground.
The top picture on page one of our local newspaper was the big roller coaster at Six Flags - looking like a serpent only half above the water.
YIKES! Best to all of you.

Site A22 is available
For a brief 48 hours we thought the rally weekend was ours.
Will hold the site for a rally participant.
Send a pm if you want to transfer the reservation.

a B-Van party! I'm still trying to decide if it's worth bringing the canoe. It's long walk down the hill to the water!

Roy, I'll still go with you next weekend but can't leave till Sat morning. What's the generator problem? Is it for the AC or are they talking alternator for the engine?

I will bring my new Kayak. Gotta give it a go in Lake Chatuge. Have had it up to Buford dam three times so far, and it was great.

we ask everyone that would like to participate in group meals to bring a dish for Sat morning brunch at 9:30am or so, and then again for Sat evening dinner that night at 5:30. No requirements, you bring what you can. Main dishes, dessert, breads wine, it's all good.
The only possible change may be no live music at dinner as some of us will be going to hear Three Dog Night next door in the ampitheatre.
The gift swap is - bring an item to raffle off at dinner. If you bring one to donate you can get a ticket to get one.
It seems fairer that way then everyone getting a ticket and we run out of the gifts. These can be funny or serious, new or used and certainly don't have to cost much. It's been a hit in the past years....
Following brunch we have done a "Tour of Homes" which has been fun too, but since many of us are regulars it's up to the crowd if we want to continue this.

All sounds perfect Allan. We had a great time at the last one. My brother Ned and his wife Jill are also coming again with the Casita. I don't think I can keep them away in the future. Thanks for putting this together.

Alan.....Any thoughts about moving up dinner time a bit?.......To eat, socialize, and then do the door prize stuff will take a bit of time for the folks that are going over to see 3DN. That show starts at 7 and trying to get over there to get seated might be a bit of a rush to get all the way down front to my seats........
Who else is gonna do pancakes with Susan and I........Gev?????..........Dennis
