Weather
Looking at the 10 day outlook, it looks like it will be in the forties at night. As in the past, I'll try to remember to bring a couple of extra small, ceramic, electric heaters should someone need to borrow one. I think we're in A-24.
JP has been busy with work. So far, we haven't been able to work out a time to finish up polishing his trailer before the event.
I don't think I'm going to have time to do any on mine either. Busy, busy, busy.
Thanks, G

We are right next door at 19. We plan on bringing our BC who will be among the many 4 and 2 legged critters there. What I really have enjoyed in the past is the lack of the YAPPY's that carry on and on when you walk by. Totally disruptive to the peace. This gathering is for friends.....why not bring your wife and that best bud?.......See you on Thursday.........Dennis

Road help
Hey Guys, we will be coming into the camp from the southeast, so we're looking for a little help with road conditions. We know the route from Helen up to the camp, lots of turns and pretty step grades. I would prefer not to go that route if possible.
Has anybody pulled from Clayton, Ga. on US 76 west to Hiawassee? That would allow us to take Hwy 441 to Clayton, then 76 over, but I don't think I've ever been on that road, so I have no ideas about grades and turns.
The other option might be to take US129 from Cleveland up that way. Any ideas?
And yes, you guessed it. I'm NOT driving thru Atlanta with this baby. Too many crazies on the roads around there.
Jim

Drawing a blank on the "BC." Is it a dog?
You will happy to know that Cooper is not 'yappy' at all.
I am the wife...I'll be bringing my husband!
See you in a few days!

Gayle......Sorry for any confusion.....Sam is exactly right, a Border Collie. He is our herding dog that we use a lot. We really hate to leave him home alone as he thinks that we belong to him. Anyway, if the geese are still around it should be entertainment for awhile. If not, he figures out something else to round up. US........
I'll bet Rowdy and Cooper get along JUST fine. Again, sorry for the confusion, and especially smiling about the mistake of who else to bring.........God Bless....Dennis

I might bring my polisher, if I feel like getting filthy! All depends on the weather. :-)
We swapped a second space with danalee. We'll be in A23, 25 and 27. Bringing my parents this time. This will be the second time we've brought the Silver Pickle (incomplete) to a rally... and we STILL haven't camped in it ourselves!

Is anyone bringing instruments or planning to sing/make music? I was thinking about bringing my electric piano but I don't want to be the only one pickin'.

Please add us to the rally list! Area A was all sold out, so I will be in D-4 unless a site in area A opens up. Let me know if you hear of any. I will be bringing my two 4-legged companions, Max the WonderPug and Daisy a sweet Bichon. I can bring my banjo, but alas, I do more grinning than picking! If we don't get a space in area A, please keep us posted on the "doings", this is our first rally and we are looking forward to it.

We are coming in Thursday around noonish. That evening about 6 PM we are going for Mexican food. Anyone want to join us? We will be going to the one just left of the entrance to the fair grounds as you leave. The restaurant is less than one mile and on the right. Look for a tan Jeep Wrangler in the parking lot.
Also what pavillion are we using? The one we used at Springstream or the Paris Pavillion by Rhododendron Garden? I kind of like the on behind us.
We will bring wine for the open house tour at our Motor Home. Stop in for a drink.
See ya in a few days.

Hey-
Any cyclist in the group?
My husband is planning to ride from the campground to the top of Brass Town Bald on Saturday.
It is around a 40 mile round trip with some fairly vigorous climbs.
