We're still here, leaving tomorrow, Alan you sure called it right on Color and weather, color peaked this week and good weather held for the rally. We enjoyed meeting and sharing with a nice group of people.

Loved the music too.

Thanks for thinking of us. We missed seeing you Kathy, and all of our other friends.

Fact is, though, we probably won't be able to attend the N. GA rallies any more for a long while...you see, we are moving to Orlando in December.

Becki is already living in FL and teaching 4th grade. The boys and I will be joining her in mid-December when school is out for Christmas vacation. This has all come about since the first of the month!

I do hope to see you guys down the road in the future.

Hey Allan,
Our SOB friends with the pop up camper said they tried to make reservations for next April and was told that the weekend of the 9th was reserved for a banking group. That they come every year at that time. Just thought I'd pass that info to you.

No worries..the Bankers Hour is a concert put on yearly by bank employees. They camp some but it will not encroach on our spaces. We will have minimum 30 available to book after Jan 2 for April 8,9 weekend.

Alan, Thanks for the info. I'll straighten them out so they can get their reservations in. We had a great time at the rally and will make our reservations ASAP in January for April.

We made it home today, had a great time at the Falluminum 2010 rally. It was our first and we plan to be back in April. Thanks to everyone for such warm hospitality! Michael and Debbie Wooldridge

The next rally (Springstream) will be on April 8-9 at Hiawassee, GA. They will start taking reservations January 1. Even though there is no membership, there is one rule that everyone has to abide. You must have fun!

Just a quick note: as a blessing, Sue's mother (lived with us) passed away from bone cancer Saturday 11/6/10. The pain that she was enduring was terrible for us to treat or even behold, and we are sure she has been greeted by her husband.

As a cruel twist, Sue had a misstep the previous week and broke her heel Friday 10/29, had emergency surgery 11/1, came home from the hospital 11/3 and her mom passes 11/6. Mom had been transferred from our house to the Ellijay hospital for a 5-day respite, and would have been moved to a nursing home while Sue recovered.

Sorry but also glad to hear that. It is so hard to deal with the pain that goes with that type of cancer. Sue seemed like she was bearing a great weight on her shoulders.
Best wishes to her for a solid recovery and onward to happier times and memories.
