Just let me know if your photography instructor gives you anything less than an "A". If he does, Sandy and I will send some guys down from the south side of Chicago to give him the opportunity to learn how to photograph black eyes and broken knee caps.
Fondly, Kelly

That's not Squash Rocket...it is an automatic goat feeder apparatus.

I think Captain Adam and Bryce need to build me one of those for the farm. Then I could walk out the front door, load up, and feed the goats without having to walk up to the barn. I'll just yell, "Heads up!" and launch their lunch.
Hehehe,
Kelly

That's funny we bred, milked and showed goats for over 30 years just giving them up 2 years ago.. I even worked at a commercial goat dairy for a couple years milking over 200 head.
So fun to look at all the pictures & the video...one more picture in the "still enjoying the rally" theme...and to say "thanks again" to Ed for donating the knife for the raffle. John was so geeked to win it. He came up with this display...complete with the winning joker ticket...on the mantle in the family room... I was thinking the kitchen made more sense, but it seems Ed's antler stand was the inspiration. I hope he'll use it soon to filet some fish.
After a day of editing and cutting and reducing the size and jumping thru a couple YOUTUBE hoops I present my slideshow your approval.

Ed, that video is really great. I didn't know iPhoto could export to video so nicely. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I bred Nigerian Dwarf goats for years. I've traded in all but two of my girls for the Airstream life. Wish we could have exchanged stories! Next time.
Ed, thank you for the heartwarming video. You know it made me cry at the end when Kay was pulling out and it was all over. Now that Captain Adam is on the forum, everyone will have to work him over for a repeat rally one day. In two weeks he starts tournament fishing. Lets keep our fingers crossed that he places 1, 2 or 3.
SIDE NOTE
Here's a snippet from our rally blog (Think Mackinac Island) that I am working on:
When Adam was hauling his boat from Mackinaw City to Traverse City on Tuesday with his Blue 1999 F250 Diesel Stick, he called me frantically from the side of the highway. He thought his "Babe the Blue Ox" puked. I got ready to rescue him when he texts me the following message:
I guess the Ox was just kicking up her heels a little bit. Next time I'll use more carrots, less whip.

I have snearched around our pages and many facebook pages to come up with a composite of as many different pictures of our rally as I could find. Thank you Ed Rottinger and Steve Mentz for doing such a great photo journalism job and sharing your work.
To see the collection of pictures I have (so far)...you'll have to join my facebook page to see the album.
