Great pictures. I love the shots taken from under the bridge, cool perspective and very interesting. Looks like a gorgeous day and very fun time. Thanks for posting!
You brought your own captain...like Captain Ron? 1992 movie Captain Ron... A family in Chicago inherits the yacht formerly owned by Clark Gable. They decide to sail it from the island of Ste. Pomme de Terre to Miami, and they sail with the assistance of Captain Ron and their lives will never be the same again.

Can we visit?
We just got our first Airstream a few months ago and are *coincidentally* going to be staying on Mackinac Island the weekend of the rally (trailer-free of course)! I'd love to stop by the campground and see some of the beautiful Airstreams that everyone has pulled up on our way to the island!

Absolutely! A good time when most people will be around will be the potluck and campfire. Come on over and join us for dinner at 6:00.

Kayaking Lake Huron
The swells don't look bad from shore, but they were an awesome roller coaster in the kayak. Thank goodness for the "horizon straightening tool" in iPhoto.

WOW! We had a great time - thanks to all who put this rally together and to everyone that participated. The boat rides, pot-luck, pancakes... It was all good.
We're on our way to Iron Mountain for a Habitat for Humanity project. Here's a few pictures of Lake Michigan near Manistique.

I just my 703 mile marathon run home and heated up some potluck leftovers that Nancy had saved me.
Sorry I couldn't make the potluck. It was my only opportunity to go out salmon fishing and it was a tough decision, but "once in a lifetime" won out.
It was a great rally. Actually, it would have been a great rally if we had simply camped in Mackinaw City. Really, it was a phenomenal rally and that's because we had something special. We had Captain Adam and his boat.
Just one look at the pictures and it's clear that the highlight of the rally was the opportunity to go out on the boat. All the faces were smiles an that's what pushed the rally into one we'll never forget.
So from all of us, thank you Adam. It wouldn't have been the same without you.
