Confined Space Rally

OK, here is the discussion thread for the confined space rally.

It's way off next September but we have to start somewhere.

Jonathan, I'll bite. Is this a rally for ex-prisoners, people with small trailers, a group rally for claustrophobics-annonymous, or is it being held in a very small campground?? Curious. Darol

Maybe we all have to stay in the same trailer?

Darol guessed it, it's for prisoners...... NO!

I finally got the event posted and it has some more info. Yes it is a small camping area. Should be fun though, rain or shine and there are lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area.

Ok Darol size is relative - maybe they were only measuing ACTUAL size and not including your tongue?

We're in and have a short rig - you can have our extra 3 feet.

Plan

Since this is a one time confined space entry no posted permit is required. However we do have to have a plan of entrance and egress as well as the proper equipment.

Plan is to have fun and proper equipment is an airstream.

If your trailer is to big get a smaller one, or just show up and tent it. Your always welcome.

It's not until September, Darol, surely you'll have another trailer by then! Just aim for a small one this time

HEY!

That's right in my 'backyad' while I'm in the 'Gorge' during the summer. I should still be there at that time next year and don't know if I'll move the 19CCD over to Eagle Creek, but I'll surely stop in to say 'HI!'.

Great idea!!!

Ok, We signed up! We don't need a lot of space... if desperate we can bring the teardrop!

Campcollector, do we make reservations at Reserve USA? Or did you reserve the spots and we pay you back? Are you the "wagon master" for this event? {Janet, maybe you can pass on the trophy!}

We signed up, it is quite a while away, but count us in unless gas gets up to $6 a gallon! (Yuk!)

Donna just confirmed her holidays so we can attend this one. We will be traveling through OR the first two weeks with the car club so this would be on our way home. We'll head out first thing Sunday morning. Looking forward to meeting everyone

Having never attended anything like this, what do we bring?

Barry

It's usually a pot luck atmosphere no scheduled dinners. We will all gather and bring a dish or throw our own meet on a barbaque kind of thing. Merlo and any kind of beverage is welcome and fuel for the fire.
