We are moving the Alaska panel to Friday am at 9:00 in the club house! This will allow more people to attend the Hurricane clean up in Thursday! Let me know if you are planning on attending (if you are in the Facebook group, you can comment on that post) or reply to this post so we know how many donuts to get from the Donut Hole!

Happy New Year everyone! I will bring a citrus salad to the chili feed. Someone please add it to the list, I forgot how to copy and paste 😆.
Also, after seeing some of your pics from Topsail, Pete says he'll bring his 30 ft. tarp in case someone needs it (Hope it's not us!) See you tomorrow, hopefully.

We will be on site 136, arriving Thursday January 3. We were only able to get one day, and looking for a site on the 4 & 5. If a site comes open let us know. Thanks Beaubill

We have been to all of the Can Openers, boy what a difference it has become. We tried to get a reservation the second week in Feb. and it was full, back in 06 and 07 we rented a site just for pot luck and get together and split the cost between the attendees. That was before we knew we could use the club house. Looking forward to this year, especially as a WBCCI event which is one of their biggest. Again help with the reservation.

Trailer is ready, weather looks good, we're not
My "cold" has not improved, and may be going into Bronchitis. I don't feel like driving tomorrow and we don't want to bring our germs to Canopener. We are reluctantly cancelling our attendance - I will call the office tomorrow at 12 noon to cancel site 40 which we have reserved for 1/3 - 1/6.
See everyone down the road.

Friday Chili Feed
Howdy all!
Looks like we’ve gotten full enough for our All Day Fun Day Friday Chili Feed!
Thank you to all who signed up to bring something - and it looks and sounds like it will all be fabulous
If you didn’t sign up but would like to help on Friday, there are still a few things we need
1) 3 Ice Chests filled with ice for Margaritaville
2) 9 people to help keep score for the Cornhole Tournament - we’ll give you a quick tutorial on how to keep score, so yeah, it’s not difficult
3) Chili Wranglers - 10 fabulous folks to help clean up the clubhouse after the Feed.
If you’re willing to help with one of these items then come find me, text me or respond via the Canopener Facebook Page.
Remember, one of the best ways to have fun at Canopener is to get involved.....especially if this is your first time here!

Site 136 is available for Thursday January 3 for one night only. It’s a pull through. We just cancelled it. We took it in hopes there would be a no show for fri and sat. But we were able to get another spot for the entire rally.
