Wife and I cancelled our reservation on reserveamerica just now - I need to change on RSVP site now but my iPhone is not letting me click the link.
It's lame I know but it think it will be a bit too cold for our kids to enjoy the beach and biking and we are going to reserve my leave for another trip perhaps in April down to the beach - my leave needs to recharge after having to take annual leave unexpected in October.
I'll book for 2016 as soon as it opens up.
Hope you all have a blast! Sorry to miss you all.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast for Santa Rosa Beach has just been revised. The forecast is now calling for a low of 27 degrees on Thursday Night, and 29 degrees on Friday night. The lows go up from there at 37 for Saturday night, and 46 for Sunday Night. By Monday, it's showing a high of 71 and a low of 62.
Make sure that your LP tanks are topped off. The State Park Campground does not offer LP gas. The nearest place that I know of that fills LP tanks is the Ace Hardware over in Sandestin which is about six mile west on US 98.

Photo Sharing
Many Canopener attendees enjoy sharing photographs and videos of the event. To facilitate photo and video sharing we have set up a site on Flickr where photographs and videos can be uploaded, downloaded, and viewed by other Canopener attendees and the general public.
If you choose to upload photos and video, please recognize your submissions will be in the public domain. To upload photographs go to the site, by clicking on the link below. To the right of the heading "2015 Canopener Rally - Topsail Hill Preserve" you will see a button "add photos". Click on the button and you will be taken to a new page. If you do not have a Flickr account you will be asked to establish one. Follow the directions for setting up an account and adding photos.
Of course you can also publish photos on this Canopener Airforums thread.
Here is the link to the 2015 Canopener Flickr photo sharing site:

Hi all,
We had booked for Grayton when all was full (still staying @ #59 today through Weds) and moving over to Topsail #61 for a week on Thursday. First rally since taking work and life full-time a year ago and looking forward to meeting a few FT ASers (know they're out there somewhere) to compare notes and make some friends. Very excited to be in a sea of aluminum instead of hiding between monster mohos ;] ...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Typical Canopener weather. Seasoned Canopenians are used to it. Forecast means nothing as it changes almost hourly. Looks like we may have to disconnect from the water if it drops below 25. The Rangers will want everyone to let their faucets run. Be sure to fill your fresh water tank if they do. But in the six years I have been coming, we have only done it once.
Nice sunny beach weather today!

Site 118 in loop 103
A public service announcement:
Just received word from Jess Askew that due to trailer issues they are having to cancel their Canopener trip.
They have site 118 reserved beginning on the 8th and wanted me to post it's availability in case someone on the Forum is interested.
Jess advised he will hold the site through Tuesday to see if anyone wants it, then release it to the public.
If you are interested, send Jess a PM, his Forum name is "jesstreamin".

Wow, this keeps up and it's going to be me, the wife, and an SOB over on the other side of the campground... I could possibly win the Cornhole Tournament by default!
-Red, loving having the campground to himself...

Not to worry, Red, this is the usual last-minute adjustments.
As of a few minutes ago the RSVP page showed 107 Airstreams registered to attend. Assume most have at least two occupants.
You should have lots of company and competition for the tournament.

Arrived at Fort Pickens. Went to raise the trailer and the jack starting blowing fuses. Brand new jack first trip out of the driveway. Not a great way to start this a trip.

You may not need new, but if you do There is a new thread. I favor the old Super Jack due to experience. GCinSC has a new Husky (a man good on tech). The ball bearing type looks attractive from them or Barker. Also a good time to use a Blue Sea fuse holder for a little anti theft. Glad you made it to destination. Good luck

I've got a meter so maybe we can do some troubleshooting. We'll be at Topsail tomorrow.
