HI Russ,
Since we missed last year

we can't wait for next year!!
We are looking forward to a map, since your not sure what sites are Airstreamers, how about starting a list here.

Hi Kate, I hear what you're saying, but the RSVP signup page is "the list". Maybe people are a little complacent since the rally is still 7 months away. I think the map will prompt some of those who haven't done the RSVP signup yet. It will fall into place quickly then. Russ

And then there are people like me that cannot plan that far ahead with their job. So, we wait and gobble up the prime empty sites that are vacated by the people that cannot make it and cancel late. Just my MO, it has worked for many years and I'm sure will work again this year.

Now, where is that Sugarfoot???????

Had lunch here in the Blue Ridge with Sugarfoot a few weeks ago, and then I think I flashed my lights at her pulling the shined Bambi on I-40 as I was Eastbound through TN last week, and she was Westbound. At least it was a white truck pulling the brite Bambi.

We'll be there - just have to wait and I'm good with an alternate site outside the main loop.

OK....that settles it! Now that Jojo has officially signed up, we are definitely coming to Canopener, albeit "trailerless." As a "cabin dweller" we can host the "inclimate weather" party.

We just made reservations for our first Canopener, arriving on Thursday. Couldn't get into Loop 103, but reserved site 26, right across the street from the entrance into the loop.

The Rivets will be there for the same days. I know our chat time was limited at Alumapalooza (you know ... us poor worker bees) but we will have more time to catch-up on the next round. Woo-hoo and a yiiipppeee ki-yay . . . can't wait!!! See ya soon . . .

Yes, The Rivets will be in attendance again this year. Just catching-up, returning home and recovering from Alumapalooza. Due to everyone being quick on the draw for reservations ... we've been forced into site #152. Guessing this is still the center of partaaay-ville??? AirHeadsRus . . . we will be bringing the same breakfast beverage as in years past 'wink wink' and can't wait to see you. Luckyducks ... you guys rock. Let me know if you need any help. Lin and I had to miss Alumapalooza because I'm still working full time and had a seminar to teach that weekend, poo! We will try to keep the weekend clear for #4 next year. That said, we are so looking forward to another Canopener. We had the MOST fun last year; better than any other event we attended. We really enjoyed the regularly updated MAP from the Chief. Let me know if I can help with that this year, as I have a little vector art experience. . . <grin> - GH and Linda

Linda and I have been camping in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park the past two weeks and out of touch to answer Canopener questions.

Kate, there will be a campground map (with attendees shown) posted in the next couple of weeks. Chief has graciously offered to periodically update the same version of the map he created a couple of years ago. I think it's the best map I've ever seen at any rally! Thanks Chief.

Greg, thanks for your offer to create a map. We may need your expertise next year.

My plan has been to start regular Canopener updates in early July (about 6 months out). This rally is going to be a lot of fun and maybe the largest Canopener ever. We're already up to 41 trailers/mohos on the RSVP page.
