I was just messing with ya! I was born and raised in Knoxville, and know just how passionate Vol fans are......still have a lot of relatives that bleed Orange & White.
I'll share some Gentleman Jack with you at Can Opener, as a peace offering!

Now if I lived in Michigan, I'd be coming on down and not be worring about staying for 3 days, I'd be staying for the next 3 months! If you run out of money while here, no big deal there's jobs around here.

You may want to take one more look at the Can opener. Evertything you see occuring at the Can Opener will not be happening at Bozeman!

Sorry, but I already asked the time off from work for Bozeman, its too late for me to go to the can opener. And there are a lot more things going on or at bozeman that the can opener won't have. Sorry, have fun, take pictures and maybe next year ill come down.

Best route to the Can Opener
This is our third trip out with the Argosy, and we're hoping to enjoy some non-interstate scenery along the way to and through Florida.
We'll head south from metro Atlanta on Thursday evening and stay overnight around Auburn. We will have a nice 5 hour ride on Friday into Topsail and avoid the Atlanta traffic battle.
Internet route planning has us taking I-85 to Auburn, US-29 to Troy, and state highways on through AL and FL to Topsail. I've not traveled non-interstate roads through Alabama and Florida in 20 years, so I am looking for comments on your "preferred route".
We've not ruled out passing through Columbus and Dothan, which was the high schoolers' preferred route to Panama City "back in the day". We're just not in as big a hurry as we once were.
I need to invest in a real atlas. It's too hard to identify which roads are multi-lane or not using internet maps.
Thanks.

IKE T : It would not be too much out of your way to come 231 from Dothan to Panama City and Hwy 98 thru the beaches and to Topsail if you havent been here in a while 5yrs or so you aint gonna believe how the beaches have built up traffic aint to bad during the winter just watch out for them tourist thay say its tourist season but they must be protected cause you cant shoot em.....SAM P.S> 231 and Hwy 98 are both 4 Lanes

Lest anyone think that it is only myself who has issues, please see below Karen's Christmas present to me for our trailer. The sickness continues...
PS: If you haven't seen the Comcast ads, you might miss the point. Like the Slowsky's, we're a couple of high rollers.

Happy Hour
Friday night the 4th from ~5:00 to ~6:30 at site 155. We will provide some munchie stuff, you provide whatever you want to drink. Might even have a small fire going in the portable pit. We're buying 2 bags of chips so we expect everyone to come !!! Co-sponsored by the characters in 153.
Hope to see you all there.

If the euphemistic "snow birds" (like us)... are towing an airstream are we still bad! Wish we could make it up there from Crystal River... but I doubt it. Hmmm or maybe we would get shot "out of season" if we did come! Darn snowbirds anyway....

I just realized the site I have is a pull through and I really don't need one with my Argosy 24, if anyone with a big 28-34 footer needs a pull through let me know what site your in and maybe we can trade, off the park books so we don't have to each cough up another 8 bucks.

Hi there, Mrs. Moonshot here. I'm trying to figure out when the pot luck dinner is. Is it Friday night or Saturday night??? I don't really have the time to read back through 74 pages of posts to find out. Can someone help me out here? Thanks in advance. The Moonshot family is looking forward to this. Sounds like its going to be a blast!

So far, from my reading the past 74 pages - whew..... the non-schedule schedule is:
Friday night at the Red Bar for those who want to go.
Saturday night Pot Luck and music.
Sunday morning Breakfast before general departure.
Then there are the rest of the non-scheduled scheduled events like individual happy hours at some sites.
Just a week away from leaving - gotta change my oil.
