Oh yes,
Must add some Blue Ribbons to my list...
Some many food items needed special recognition.
No way would you beleive how great the Pot Luck was, unless you were there.

Wanderer1...Yea..Come on down.It does not not matter. If you have a square stream or not.Sure these rallies are posted on the Airforums because we are Airstreamers but everynow and then there is an Airstreamer that has an SOB once in a while sitting around because they were not able to get there vintage or new one ready for the rally. We had one person bring there's last year and they have Airstreams. Also a couple of the larger RV owners in the park were asked to join in on the fun also.No worries.
Besides that...It will be intresting to see one of those in the crowd. There are not that many anymore.
Hey Klattu.I am in site#162.Thanks.

Great job on the map! I can't wait to meet all of you!

I noticed you said earlier that there would be no name tags this year. As a newbie I would find them really helpful and I would be glad to help with them. Just let me know what you need me to do.

I think Minnie's Mate has children, and Devoman has a young daughter, so there should be some kids there.

Hello folks.... We will be in Arcadia, Fla for the winter and this looks like a great rally to attend.. Any idea on towing time from there to the campground???

My GPS software, Garmin's MapSource, says 502 miles and 8:29:15 driving time. I have it set at 63mph for Interstate highways. Your speed may be different. The suggested route is up I-75 to I-10, then west to US-331, then south to the park. There are more scenic routes that would let you see more of old Florida, but that would take longer.

We are signed on the the second annual with great anticipation. I think our site will be #118. Looking forward to seeing friends made last year and new friends to meet this year. I hope we'll be having the name tags--hand made ones at a station would be fine, but with so many streamers, it sure does help. One request: Dacia, did you make that divine bread pudding with JD sauce? Please, please make it again! All the seafood dishes are great. We'll be glad to join in on a team to made/contribute ingredients or come up with something on our own. If seafood is wanted, just pm us. I'd vote for a return to the Red Bar(???) for a group dinner out--maybe Fri nite? . Is anyone else interested? January can't come soon enough! ~G

Thanks Klattu for the recognition of my Key Lime Pies. They are my favorite and my specialty. Key Lime Pie is also the only pastry/baked good that I know how to make. I will bring a couple for this rally and will print out the recipe for any one who'd like a copy.
Swampbillies, we will have our 7 year old and our 10 year old sons with us. They had a great time last year with the other kids that came. I had touched base with Rich Lhur a couple of months ago and he said he was planning on coming at that time, but I think they will be winding down their full-timing by then so they may or may not be able to attend. If they do, they have a sweet daughter that is about 7 or 8.
We are going back to Top Sail Hill for Labor Day and I can't wait for either this rally or Labor Day Weekend...and that's just 2 days away!
Look forward to seeing some of you guys at the Falluminum and the rest at the Can Opener.

May I offer a suggestion that will help me find the bread pudding. Could each individual "Title" their dish and maybe even offer receipes.
All to often I have been to a pot luck and could not go back and find the contributer.
At this stage in life I am looking to make it easy.

I'm Sad
This is just killing me, but we can't make it. You see we opened our Music store in April and we are booked solid for 2008 going to supplier shows. My husband just will not budge on taking a few more days off. In a way I understand we have to make this business work but the greedy side comes out and wants to go play with the Airstream friends.
I will miss the Red Bar, the key lime pies, and the bread pudding with JD sauce. Herb I wanted to show the trailer off sooooo bad since you started the polish work.
For all the newbie's you will have a blast!!!!!
