We will have our furry kids with us as well. 2 lab mixes and a beagle/jack russell mix.

2 furry friends here as well... Cookie and Booger... Boston Terriers!

Seems like everyone with an Airstream has a dog or 2 to guard it. ha!

One reason we bought our trailer is so we could take the dogs on trips with us. They need a vacation too. Too much lying around not doing much of anything taxes them so...

Trooper will be there too.

He has gone to two rallies to date, Region 2 in PA and Perry.

This was a pic in PA in April, he's a bit bigger now at 8 months.

Sorry that we'll arrive sans kids, grandkids, and pets. We'll just enjoy all of yours! Our Wally, the Weimaraner, is too old and unsteady on foot to leave the home place. Moose, the GSP, apologizes for his absence, but since his job around home is bird and frog patrol, he just can't find the time to get away. Also, we don't think Topsail would appreciate his efforts to keep Florida frog and bird free. All our kids and grandkids are properly busy just now with their jobs and school, so that just leaves us older folks foot loose and Airstream crazy. We are heading up north to MInnesota for fall color tomorrow, but it's just a few months before we change course to head south to the gulf. Surf's up. . .see you all there!~G

Another four-pawed attendee here with Sonya, the we-don't-know-what-breed(s)-she-is dog. But she is part of the family just the same.

Good idea about adding the rally to signatures too!
Yes! I had a great time at Harrison Bay. I'm fully decompressed from all stress and ready to go back to work in the AM. BTW Kathy, I think you have the Can Opener cartography confused with the Falluminum map project. Klattu is handling the Can Opener mapping very well. unlike me who can barely keep up with the Falluminum.

Been away from the forum over the weekend...life never lets up! Anyway, we'll be in 152 as Wheelinterested said with our two boys (7 & 10) and our cocker spaniel.

Can't wait. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new Friends.

Don't forget, BYOB cocktail party at our site. Time TBD, but probably 5:00'ish.

We will be getting there late Friday night, well, actually early Saturday morning. This year we got there about 2:00 AM Saturday morning. I hope to get there about midnight this year. So, you can come over on Friday and have happy hour without us, but we will enjoy it more on Saturday! BTW, we have to leave on Sunday to get the kids back for school on Monday, so I guess for us, Saturday will be it.

BTW, Carol, you are welcome to come over anytime after you see any signs of life. That should be about noon!

?? Details

I'm new to all of this & am unable to determine if it somethin we would be interested in or not. Is it open to all Airstream owners? What are the dates, activities, locations, and costs?

Welcome geodrake!

The when/where/cost information is on the first page:
State:Florida Where:Topsail State Park When:Jan 4th - 6th

It is open to ALL. It is a come with what you have. If you do not have an AS, come with tent or SOB (some other brand) and meet and greet and see the different AS trailers.

There is a potluck on Saturday night and sometime on saturday they usually tour each others trailers. I have never been to a rally before so I am not sure how this works.

Other than that I think it is socialize if you want. It is a camping trip where there are people with Airstreams relaxing and taking it easy.

We hope to see you there!

Welcome geodrake - jump in and join us - if you have an Airstream we will be glad to see you, if you don't and are shopping around then this is a great time to see a bunch of different models and years. You will get to hear the good and bad on each model from the people who know best - THE OWNERS.

I'm sure you will meet a diverse crowd of people and eat more than you can imagine in a weekend.

Please, join us.

TJ heard from the folks at Top Sail yesterday and they said site 117 is open although it may not be showing up on the map as available. But this girl was from New York, so she may not know everything! He did invite her to join us and promised her lots of fun !

It's because Klattu hasn't updated the map since LAST MONTH . (Just kidding... )

We are getting so many posts in just a few days that it seems like a LONG time ago.

Seriously though BTW, thanks Klattu for your work on the mapping and pictures . Nice to see locations and imagine the Rally.

That's funny. On my list I had you in site 151!!! Maybe you can be the roving Airstream!

It looks like we may have to bring TJ's sob again this year. Too many people wanting to come with us and his sob will sleep 6 comfortably. Is that a good problem to have?????

According to the confirmation, we're on 154 again.

Kathy, we want to see the new Airstream! Can't you both bring your trailers and his SOB can be the overflow!

We are in discussions about bringing his SOB and my Airstream. That's how he found out 117 is available. Besides, you'll get to see the new Airstream at Falluminum, so don't fret Minnie's Mate! It's gonna be alright!! I promise!!!! Tee Hee!
