Dear friends and obsessive ralliers,
*holding envelope to forehead*
It appears that the second weekend in January (8th & 9th and possibly Thursday the 7th) seems like the best possibility for the most people. If I have read this thread correctly (no guarantees there) everyone who has responded so far can make it except for the TIMES who are still a definite maybe so we will twist their arms and make sure they come too.
We also have the nrrr coming up in Feb. so earlier in Jan. is better than later for those of us who need to be home occasionally.
Kevbo has graciously volunteered to call Jalama tomorrow AM and grab the group site if it is available.
All newbies (and their families, friends, and pets) are always welcome.
So how many of us say "yes" to:
Jalama, January 7, 8, 9 2008, for a winter rally (theme to be decided) ??
Sincerely,
J. Louise

Louise,
Is it just my calendar or are Jan, 7,8,9 a Mon, Tues, Weds?
Cachuma = cold in Jan.
Mrs Goin and her husband are free from work the week between Christmas and NewYears. Anybody wanna go camp or go traveling?
Krikles from over the hill and around the corner. New folks are not only welcomed but encouraged. Don't forget to slink over to the CalStreamers Fall Rally thread and join us in Nov. only a space or two left. We don't have newbies around here. Just old friends we have not met yet.
Well the Outhouse is righted and all comfort and convienence has been restored to the palatial shack.
Bam there is courtesy parking across the dirt road.
Rudy

Well what goes on behind those individual silver doors is your own business.
We are all inclusive.
We love kids and friends and family and pets of all types.
Well, and people of all types.
And we are loads of fun.
Most importantly, what happens at a rally, stays at a rally...
(Except for the random photos that show up here. Sample enclosed from the last happy hour.)

McGrath State Beach in Ventura looks like a nice place. Never camped there but it's right on the beach and a place I've always wanted to try. Reservations can be made through ReserveAmerica.com. Although not site specific, if we plan far enough in advance, we can probably get a few loops together. Very uncrowded in the winter.
I would recommend having the rally the weekend of January 18th as that is a 3 day weekend for some so you may have a better turnout.

Apologies. I made the suggestion thinking it was the end of the thread. I didn't realize you were already committed!
