View from the Rear
Caravanning to Kernville with Uwe in the lead, Babeebloos, Timemachine and we are in the rear.
We had a great time and loved Kernville.....a great place to Rally (thanks Kevbo).
We enjoyed seeing our old friends (only our 2nd Ca Streamers Rally) and meeting new ones as well. What a friendly, fun, talented group (good cooks, too).
Special recognition: Thanks to Uwe for rescuing us when we got into trouble (think the scene in the movie RV) and to Timemachine for rescuing me when I got locked in our trailer and everyone was partying and could not hear my calls for help and my cell phone wouldn't work. Major panic time for me.....but all's well that ends well and we had a fun time.
See you in San Clemente in January.....paula & ed

As usual, the aftermath of a great rally often results in depression(do we have to go home?), separation anxiety, dry mouth (where's the margi?), weight gain (brunch and dinner potluck!!!), and memory lost (too much patron). Kernville is no exception.
Congratulations to all the rally rookies, you had all survived one strenuous orientation and were inaugurated with the official Cal Streamer Vessel (courtesy of our cruise director Ms. Bamasita J. Louise Wanda Smith III). It was such pleasure to meet all of you, and many who I had bonded during chorus line.
There are many photos to sort through, but here are some great moments.

Nothin' But a Party
We're back from the Fall Rally and once again, it was a great time. There were a lot of new folks who helped to make it what it was. The campground was in a beautiful location and the town of Kernville had some fun attractions. Even got in nine holes of golf one day. Here are some pictures.

We were glad to get the opportunity to host some of the action. Since Kevbo got us that great end spot, the least we could do was share it with the group. R

WOW ! What a weekend. It was great seeing everyone again and those we met for the first time. The campsite was super, the background wonderful, as the weather was most of the time.
By the wayTime and Going, you were right, the back way was far more easier and I feel just as fast getting home. I'm sure if TimCan took the back door he agrees with me. No more hwy 99 to 184 ?#@$
Suni and I can't wait till the Winter rally. And of course, I enjoyed the ladies singing their harts out! Take care everyone..... Here's a few pictures I took.

Mr. Safari-Rick, what a guy you are, and of course, Suni, she's just a sweetheart. Thank you so much for sharing and hauling that 25 lbs Galbee Beef for all of us at the potluck, it's to die for. We got a goodie bag home as well, and it's just as wonderful as you first BBQ them.
Of course, it was very kind of you being the DJ and set up the karaoke hour! We had a blast. Oh boy, oh boy, you had a great voice too...
You and Tim might just have to recruit three more members to complete the " New Village People"...just sayin'
Can't wait to party with you two again at Vail Lake.

What a great time we had at the Rivernook Campground with the California Airstreamers in Kernville!!!..Something for just about everyone: great weather, great food, great fun taking in the nearby sites: visiting the local shops for antiques, food and drink, having a meal at the Kernville Airport, flyfishing in the Kern River, and seeing deer, ducks and even some trout at the Kernville Hatchery..Kudos to Kevin and all his assistants for setting us all up at one of the nicest campgrounds I've ever stayed and enjoyed, and also kudos to str8tstrm for hosting the reception on Friday as well as Safari-Rick for bringing your karaoke machine..there were at least 10 brave happy crooners participating Saturday nite!!!..looking forward to seeing you all again soon at the upcoming rallies!!!
Btw, if any more members are interested in the video for this rally, please pm me for more info..

Wow! Another successful rally...great people (lots of good friends both old and new), wonderful food (and lots of it), with perfect weather and location. And who knew there was so much talent at the New Safari Rick's Karaoke Club located in the str8strm's Mothership Lounge. Thanks everyone for playing and congrats to the Noobs for surviving. I look forward to seeing all of you soon!
