Did I find this thread too late? I'm in Tehachapi, and was interested in camping at Morro Bay SP. but find all sites taken. (Of course, it may be that I can't read site right!)
I camp with Central Coast Airstream Group (now in a 2011 20' Flying Cloud) and wanted to camp even more.... Pic is of my original 16' Bambi.

A friend of mine I was camping with this weekend wanted to join us but she said she checked and all the spots are taken, bummer.

Got my house rented out as a vacation rental. Hitting the road for the next couple months...woohoo.

Don't forget there are lots of first come first serve Standard sites! We stayed there in a Standard site this New Year's weekend and it was fabulous! No hookups, but nice wide spaces, and nice bathrooms. This is a big park with 100+ sites.

If you ladies are able to get on the road Thursday or Wedneday even, I would think there would not be an issue getting in.

Another option is booking for Thursday, and Friday nights. I'm still seeing 7 of the hookup sites available for those two days. If you have to move sites for Saturday night, I'm sure there are lot's of sisters that would help

Sorry for the trouble getting in, it real filled up fast. I tried to book a dozen sites, but the State parks don't allow that

My house is offically booked until the end of March, hitting the road January 15th (my 44th birthday) nice gift to myself. Going to stay in AZ until all my stinkin' tax info comes in and I can get that taken care then I will head to the coast to spend March, visiting wineries and watching waves. The best part will definetely seeing my sisters! Can't wait.

I'm going to cross that state line as soon as I can. Bribe me with cocktails, you know I'll show up. Will stop in Palm Springs and get my hot springs pool on at Tamarisk (Your phone will be ringing Virginia) then go from there.

Thank you Bam! I'm actually looking forward to this birthday. Another friend has the same birthday his big 40, we're going out for cocktails in Tempe to celebrate.

Been bumming around AZ for the past month in the traila. Now its time to head to CA (woohoo). Going to Palm Springs for Modernism, getting there on the 23rd, staying probably 2 weeks at Tamarisk Rv park. Then will cruise to Solvang for some wine time March 8-15. Need a week in Pismo at Coast Village, will be there March 22-29. Just need to find a place to chill before our gathering on the 29, thought about Morro Dunes, been there done that. Any suggestions for that part of the coast? Anyone who wants to join me at any of these spots I wouldn't mind the company!

We will be at Kirk Creek March 22-25, it sure is pretty up there. It's about an hour north of Cambria along the 1.

Hey Julianne! Yes, I will be there at the Dead Horse rally but unfortunately I have to come back to Oregon and take care of some business before I can hit the road again for the Silver Sisters rally. I know, kinda crazy

but I've wanted to go to so many rallies that didn't work out, that I'm determined to go to both of these, come hell or high wadah!! If my brother comes back in the country before I pass Morrow Bay, he might be able to take care of that business for me so I can stay down south, insteading of coming home. We shall see.

Yesterday I booked two weeks (March 15-29) at Pismo Coast Village. I figure between wine & waves I'll be content hanging there vs bouncing around. Some serious chill time before meeting up with da Sistah's.

Good morning campers.

I have an opportunity to travel to Asia when our rally is scheduled that I just can't pass up.
So, sadly I will have to cancel my reservation at Morro Bay.
I'm really sorry to miss our rally as I was looking forward to seeing you all.

But I will be throwing a Thursday to Sunday hookup reservation back into the
mix if anyone wants to call Reserve America and grab it.
