Twig and Squeeze need BM tix!

Hey all!

Kim (Twig) and Connie (Squeeze) here. We'd love to attend and bring the shot ski whiskey lemonade stand again but we are still without Burning Man tickets. We struck out in the Main Sale and are now on the STEP wait list.

If any of you have connections for a couple of tickets, we'll take them!

Looking forward to our second burn and crossing fingers we'll get in.

As a last resort, make sure you get in on the OMG sale...... Friends of mine scored 6 tickets there last year.

Oh, Connie and Kim, I do hope that you get tickets! You guys were so much fun last year. I have another group of friends looking for 4 tix too, if anyone has a line on some, but Twig & Squeeze should have first dibs in my book!

Flame Device.....???

Anyone want me to try to bring a flame device with me?

It does shoot a pretty big fire ball.

Attached is a pic of it in action on top of a pretty big house.

I just found this article:

Hope our shipping addresses weren’t changed to one in Russia. 😩

Last spring at RAnger training I was told about the wonders of liquid Calgon water softener. After last tears burn we washed the trailer with dawn and liquid calgon and found it to be heavenly to really wet the surface. Just gave the trailer a bath and again live this combo. Not sure if vinegar is needed to still balance the ph in all those little spaces.

Welcome Jenna and John!
We love newbies. There are a lot of experienced Burners and Air Streamers in our camp and you may even learn something from our past mistakes and stories.
We are pretty easy with no dues or rules and fun but reasonable people. Just let us know when you plan to arrive and what you are driving/bringing/camping with so we can make room.
Cheers.

Hi there
Just joined the group!
We’re still trying to get two tickets to BM....
Missed the original sale by 10 minutes. We are registered on STEP and are going to try the OMG sale... but not sure what other options there are? Does anyone know of any extra tickets floating around out there that we can purchase?
thanks!

Wbbci Salem international rally

The Bells aka cosmic ray and spitfire will be at the International Rally next week in Salem. Will there be any Burners there as well? Let’s get together. ray.bell@me.com.

Amazing!!

Hey!

We're new to the airstream community this year and was just checking out threads when I saw this topic!!! We're already booked to drive across the country with our Airstream and be at BM but we didn't have a camp!! Can we join you, that would be amazing!! We're been to BM before but we tented it last time.

Love that there is an Airstream group getting together at this!!! There is myself Jon-Astro, my wife Olga-Lola, and our little guy Jayden-TRex coming!

Let me know the process to join you all and I'll start organizing a list of how we can to help out the camp.

You are welcome. We have several spots left. When you arrive, ask where the Airstreameri camp is. It's usually around 3:00 out at H, plus or minus. Just look for a group of Airstreams.

Thanks!!

Hey Zeppelinium,

Thanks so much, that is super exciting!! We'd love to join you all. Is that it, do we just show up? :P

Where can I learn what I can help out with or if we need anything specific as a camp?

Excited to meet everyone!

Well, you can just show up, but it's much better if you come ready to make some kind of contribution. Very undefined, however.

Oh, and be nice and within very few guidelines cooperate with the wrangler when you are parked (we have some requirements for fire lanes, access to the pump truck, etc.).

Looking forward to meeting you.

Zep

Jon, Olga, and Jayden,

This is a quote from Bam Camper's initial post on this thread:

"We offer a bar for our camp and the community at large (that anyone can host any time of the day with whatever they would like to share), a shade structure "post office" for making post cards (that we stamp and mail for people), the amazing (VVV) volcano art car will be back, there will be a potluck (or several), a variety of games, and of course whatever else you would like to contribute would be great. Last year’s Lemonade Stand was fantastic. New ideas/suggestions/offerings are always welcome. Let us know here what you'd like to do. The theme this year offers endless possibilities. Can't wait to see what shows up! The playa is a land of continual surprises."

I'm not exactly sure about the status of the post card offering without Bill and Annie this year. Maybe Jilly Bean and I can meet up with them pre-Burn and find out what needs to carry on the tradition. In the past donations of post card valued stamps have been helpful. Games have included such things as giant Jenga, disc golf putting challenge, & Bocce ball as a gift to the community. If you have a game that you think passers by might like to play perhaps you could pack it and bring it along.

Hi Obi Wan, Annie mailed the box to us on playa two years ago, but that didn't work out; the BRC3PO was having some kind of tug o war with LEO and packages were being searched by LEO or not delivered or something, and we got the box at 6PM on Saturday, on our way out to the Man burn. A little late. I gave the box back to her last year on playa. So we could ask her to mail it to you or Gigi. Everyone bring post card stamps and sit the table a bit when you're tired from biking around the deep playa. I'm told that BRC3PO will put on international stamps, I don't know how we can gift back to them. Kenny was talking about bringing a camera to take photos / to post card set up. Playa magic makes it all work out.

Welcome! I'm the chief grump and formologist, your job, if you should accept it, is to bring your grossingist Butterflugen nettingist and catch all the MOOP that is flying by camp. Everyone has a MOOP bucket to detain and contain the errant MOOP.

Welcome J and O and J, your job, if you accept it, is to bring the biggest Butterfly net you can find and catch MOOP flying by the camp. We detain and contain the MOOP in our required MOOP buckets.
