If someone forgets their early entry pass, I have and extra one, in camp. Joy to get me notice to bring it to the gate though. Airstreameri and What Not at 3:15 and Italic.

Morephotos
More photos if I can get the puter to do its thang. Thanks so much to all our camp mates that came and made this one of the best camps ever! And we inherited a "Red" zone piece of playa, and left it what should be a "Green" zone. Wonderful surprise neighbors that Dr. Quark placed, cleaned up their ground terrific AND gifted us a bunch of neat tools and pole and windsurfer sails that we may turn into some new additions to the camp decor, possibly flags or a parachute shade or who knows.

Hi Everyone,
Please accept a very big "Thank You!" from Bob and I for your support, contributions and work that make the VVV a success notwithstanding the loss of fog fluid and the broken clutch! I can assure you that she will be back next year with more lights, better vision for the dirver, better headlights and music or at least rumbling sounds!
I was quite pleased when one of our camp mates commented that with all the common participation, the VVV is truly a camp/joint effort - and I agree.
It was great to see old friends, to make new ones and satisfying to be with such a creative and dynamic group. I look forward to sharing photos of our time together.
Thank you all again.
Hugs!

Thank you everyone for your company and your generosity!
I didn't actually camp with you guys, but I came around to visit so often, and was welcomed so often that it almost felt like it.
A bunch of great folks were there, and you guys made my first burn really feel like "home".
Thanks, and I hope to see you all next year!

In solidarity
Hey Folks,
We are camping with the Black Rock Power Coop, our pod is 4:20, but I am determined to come find you next year. Your camp sounds great! Feel free to swing by us. We're in a 1986 345 moho.

I've got a question for all you folks that have been out on the playa.
What do you do with your reflectix (if you used it)?
It looks like I could just reuse the same pieces that I cut for the front windows this year for next year ... but the painter's tape seems fused on from the desert heat.
Do folks even bother to try saving it, or does it go straight into the trash?
Do folks put the reflectix inside the windows, or outside?
Any suggestions?

We weave the stuff into two levels by cutting slots in the top of the bottom layer and weaving the top layer into the slots on the bottom layer. Then we close the curtains or shades around it which mostly hold it in place but if it needs more support we tape it to the wallboard not the windows.

Thanks for the suggestions! Sounds like it might be better to put the reflectix on the inside of the windows next year.
I'll look into the gaffer tape.
OTOH ... if it's going on the inside of the window, then I could easily just use some velcro tape.
Lots to think about for next year!

I concurr - gaffer's tape is the way to go. Designed not to cook, not to leak goo and to be reused it leaves no residue on the AS. Two years of it on mine at BM - not a trace.
And it sticks like mad :-)
