Yeah, what a time for me to decide to move from OH to CA. UrbanAir moves to what was my proverbial backyard and I move a loooong way away. Wish I could be there.

Logan is the city near to the Hocking Hills area. Hocking Hills is the true gem. Take your hiking gear. You can spend days hiking. If you go to Hocking Hills State Park, plan on going early. Parking is ample but fills up early on the weekends. Ash Cave on the south end of the park is a must-see. You can hike there from Old Man's Cave and it's a great hike but you can also drive. The parking at Ash Cave is rather limited.

All of the Ohio State Parks in that area have good hiking and things to see. But Hocking Hills / Old Man's Cave is by far the busiest.

We’ll be heading west this summer, and work schedules are going to prevent us from planning too specific of a trip.

Didn’t have anyone able to join us last summer, likely due to the mid week dates. We’d highly recommend the park, though!

I’ll second that. Fall Creek Falls is a wonderful State Park!!
