Hey All,
Well, spent the last month "removing" everything from inside the AS, asked Paula what she thought of the "great room" idea?, So just got a queen bed in the AS, so an ice box and a extension cord and we are set! I guess I better cover the hole in the floor where the black tank was... don't want any coons...
Jim J. when are you heading out from Philomath? We were thinking about after lunch Friday? Can't wait to see everyone, I'll be in Columbia NC the week before, so it will be good to be at BB for the weekend!

Hi... BBB-érs
Wanted to touch base with the bashers........
Jerry and I are setting out this Friday. First going to The Dalles for Jer's folks 60th party. We thought we would stick around the Hood River area for the weekend (Pear Festival), but want to head out the next week somewhere fun, before landing at BB on Thursday.
Any Ideas?? Does anyone have a good recomendation on camp spot in the wine country? Vinyards or tasting rooms?
....may pick up some... Pinot Noir?
Anyone else bumming around the week before?
Looking forward to seeing....The Usual Suspects ...and meeting new ones!
Bocce on the beach anyone?
Jer & Pats
*will help with what ever is needed.

You and Paula will do what NorCalBambi/CaddyGrn and CJohnson have done at previous rallys.........live with just the bare minimum.......and it'll probably be your most memorable rally! Just add a microwave and you'll have all the basics covered!
We're heading over Thursday afternoon. We'll probably stay thru Sunday nite to visit with folks some more! You're welcome to use our oven for Paula's lasgna smackdown entry.....can't wait to try it!

Gary,
I've emailed Jim Faulkner (had his new 25' CCD at South Beach) about the rally. He's out of the country until 9/24. I hope I can convince him to come to the rally....but no promises. I've asked him to call me when he gets back.
Has anyone asked Frances (was at the 1st BB rally) if she can come? I think Stephanie has her phone number or email address.
We'll get 'er filled one way or another!

Name Tag Contest
Name tag contest will be during the day on Saturday. So wear them when in camp and during the Pot Luck. Remember this is a, if you want to" kind of contest. Beside the $5 will go to the grand winner. We will be roving around during the day to see name tags. Also very creative and off the wall is OK. Some suggestions on what you might or might not put on your tag.
Name, Trailer, Trailer Name, Forum name, Forum number, number of children, number of grandchildren, number of great grandchildren, pets You could include the gold fish, hamster, etc, places you like to camp.
The tag can be worn on any part of your body, or draged behind you, or pushed in front of you, It might even be hidden on you pet. After who really owns us anyway.
All mentions of aluminum is acceptable.
And remember our fearless leaders.

Janet,
So what nights are you on the hook for?? Who originally had this site? I thought you reserved all 25 sites for Friday/Saturday nites. You shouldn't be responsible for Thursday nite. Whatever happens........we'll all cover for any sites not used but paid for.......that's only fair. But I wouldn't cancel yet....as there may be someone out there that still may come!

I am on the hook for 3 nights for this site. I reserved the extra day as a favor to the person who had it orginaly. If We don't fillit, I'll send them a bill. But I suspect someone will want it. I am not going to cancel the site under any circumstance.
Heck, if nothing else, we'll store cases of merlot in it

I wrote to Frances. I don't know if she swings by here often enough to see it was BB time again. Heck, she might already be on the list - it's so long, ANYONE could be on there!

I'm sure someone will snap up the site by next weekend (is it coming up that soon already?? I've better get packing!). My grandpa is hauling his '69 Overlander up from Sedona, AZ next week. I asked him if he wanted me to try to find him a site...but alas, his free spiritedness would not allow him to commit to such an offer.

Getting Ready!
Well folks it will soon be Beverly Beach Time! Start Packing!
Day before yesterday Don started to wash and then wax the Bambi ~ you know we need to preserve that beautiful original patina! Then yesterday it rained! Who ordered rain??? Thought I would share a photo of this monumental event! [you might have to look in the tree for Don...]
See you all soon!

What time were you thinking of departing the Park n Ride for BB?
We are pulling our teenager out of school a bit early so we are praying he has no tests this day!

Hello BB'ers!
We are going to head over towards the coast to the Oregon/California border and be there sometime around Monday. Then take our time and travel up the coast to BB and arrive on Thursday. If anyone wants to join with us along our way, let us know and maybe we can hook up! We will have our laptop and probably will find wifi occasionally so post here and we will see if we get your message.

Looks like we're rolling from the park-n-ride at noon. Ali has a 20 mile training run at day break, then we're on the road. With that schedule, our ETA @ BB is just before 5PM.

If he's anything like me when I was in school he's probably praying he does have a test and misses it . It will make the weekend that much sweeter.
Have fun you guys, I sure do wish we were able to be there.

Safari57 -- Have you met my son already? Sorry you can't join us!
Ostream - departing at noon I think will work well for our schedule -- even a caravan of two will be a blast!! I'll confirm this by end of weekend.
